Fisoceny Under Sink Instant Hot Water Heater
This looked to me like it was going to be very hard to install, but my husband understood it well and luckily had all of the parts needed to connect it up. It still took a bit longer than I thought it was going to, but it was worth it to have hot water in my outdoor milking area! It works great and it fits under the sink easily.

Nice heater, but plan for your install. Still not sure about safety ratings
Update1: I have not been able to find the UL certificate for this heater. I have posted the question and will update this review when answer is received. If UL certificate is available, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. If no certificate then I wouldn't trust it in my home.Update2: I did receive an answer and learned the power cord is UL listed. I still have not been able to confirm the rest of the water heater (or its components) have been reviewed by a third party for safety. On the other hand, I don't know what Amazon's policies are regarding this type of device, so the manufacturer and seller may be in full compliance with Amazon guidelines. With this in mind I upgraded the rating a little, but I still don't feel comfortable leaving this unit energized in my home and the review rating reflects this.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As others have mentioned, the included temperature and pressure release valve leaks. I'm not an expert in plumbing, but I do all my own repairs with PVC, threaded copper, soldered copper, black iron pipe and even some pex work in our travel trailer. I would guess the conical pitch of the T&P valve socket is a little off, the included valve easily ran all the way down to the end of the threads. The replacement valve I picked up locally ran most of the way before getting tight and preventing leaks. After getting past the T&P valve I set the heater up in the open to make sure it would continue without leaks which it did! For my install, I wanted the hot water to be available sooner so we didn't waste water waiting for the hot water to reach the faucet. For this I plumber the house's hot water line into the 'cold water' port of the heater. I didn't want the heater trying to raise the temperature of the house's hot water, so I purged enough to get hot water into the heater before turning it on. I then set the heater's thermostat a little lower than the house's hot water temperature. This way the heater will assist until the house's hot water arrives and then the heater will go back to idle :-)Regarding insulation, I am happy to say the shell of the heater stays at ambient temperature so the insulation must be working :-)

Almost impossible to get it not to leak, need lots of additional fittings...
Whoo boy this is a frustrating product... Bought it as I wanted a small hot water heater for our outdoor kitchen. Size is good, but at least for my faucet, the 3/8" included hot/cold water connectors are no good - trip one to Depot to get 3/8" to 1/4" adapters.Step 2, try to find some way to connect it to the water supply that doesn't leak. Probably 2 hours of work, sweating and swearing, and still barely would say I succeeded. I think the threads interior to the water supply are sloppy - no combination of thread tape, pipe goop, ft-lbs of torque, or cursing could get it to completely stop leaking. The included pressure compenstating connection is garbage - it leaked like a sieve, and when I finally got it to leak less out of the bottom, then the pressure compensator part on top leaked. And don't forget that the compenstor (a t-shaped connector), when fully seated, interfered with the output water lines - so you either leave it loose (and it leaks), or you use all your strength to tighten it just far enough so you can fight to get the water line attached (and it leaks less). Eventually I went with door #3 - throw it out and buy (in yet another Depot trip) a straight connector. Finally, with about 40 yards of thread tape, blisters on my hands from tightening, I sort of have it so it only drips a tiny amount. And wait! There's more! After getting it hooked up and letting it heat, both the cold water side and the hot water side produce blazing hot water. Neat feature, but not what I wanted... Such junk!If this wasn't an evaluation product it would have gone back long ago. Crappy contruction, look elsewhere.

Love Having Instant Hot Water At The Sink
This point of service hot water heater is well made from quality materials. It is durable and sturdy. Installation was a bit of a challenge. But a trip to the big box store for some adaptors and supply lines and this was taken care of. It is important to note that you will need electrical power near-by for the unit. Our house is fairly large, and the time it took hot water to finally reach some sinks was problematic. Installing this small unit under the sink has changed all of this. Now we have hot water right away. Also, it should be noted that this product is UL listed. This means that this product has undergone very strenuous and rigorous testing and evaluation by an independent evaluation organization to ensure that this product is completely safe for use in your home. This heater is a very helpful and useful item. Like many plumbing projects, it can be a bit challenging. But in my experience, this is typical for most plumbing projects I attempt, and the reason I try to avoid plumbing tasks. The item is correctly described by the seller. I am very pleased with this item and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this product!!
