Pretty nice to have around. I sprained my ankle several years ago, and so I know it's probably weaker now and I could end up needing something like this. It's pretty easy to use, though it took me a moment to figure out the tightening/loosening process. You sort of push down on the button and turn it to tighten it, while it's tightening it'll make a noise that kind of reminds me of the noise those toy cars would make that you would pull backwards on the floor to 'wind them up and then let them go.I'm keeping it in the backpack I have been keeping medical supplies in.

This ankle brace support is great for support. I saw another reviewer state it didn't immobilize their ankle. It's not meant to.When I tore an ankle tendon, I needed it mostly immobilized for it to heal. After, to build strength back, I needed support while it was weak.This support brace is perfect for what I need. It's very well made, easy to adjust and the size chart is accurate.

This looked like the perfect thing for a twisted ankle, to help stabilize it and provide extra support. This BOA fastening system is a great idea, but doesn’t work that well. The brace easily slips on over your foot, and leaves the heel exposed. Once you start tightening the brace with the BOA knob, it gets tight up around the knob, but I can’t get it tight over the rest of the foot. There is a strap underneath the foot that can be used to provide additional support, but it primarily only tightens around the instep. So the top and bottom of the brace are tight, but not the middle, where you need it most around the ankles. My shoe did fit comfortably over the brace. The worst thing is it is impossible to loosen and get off your foot. You literally have to loosen each wire, similar to how you would loosen laces on tennis shoes. I actually got claustrophobic at one point, and thought I was going to have to cut it off. Overall, if you are looking for a little extra support, this might work for you. But if you need good ankle support, this probably is not what you want.

Easy to adjust to just the right fit. Keeps the ankle stable and provides the right support. It's comfortable to wear and helps reduce the pain and the swelling, and hopefully helps it heal faster.

The Welnove Ankle Brace is desgined for both action sports and to wear at night so that you feet can rest with minimal movement. I use them when my Achilles Tendonitis flares up. I use them at night and the wires help adjust the resistance. If i need to release them at night, I just need to press the button and it will loosen up.Not a big fan of the strap which needs to be connected to each other and makes things too tight. I wish they had designed it in a way that the Velcro attached to the side of the product giving more flexibility. Alternatively, the strap would need to be longer.

This is a great ankle brace. I have weak ankles and am forever hurting mine which makes it incredibly difficult to walk and get around. I wrapped this brace around my ankle after I pulled it yesterday while in the kitchen. It held my ankle in place and kept it from bending wrong again which helps to alleviate the pain while I am walking. I am hoping in a few days of wearing this my ankle will be good as new. It's a huge help already. Easy to put on, it holds well, and the closure stays put.

Pros:+ Ratcheting system, in theory, should be a significant improvement.Cons:- Difficult to pull on over the heel; plastic wire not long enough.- Does not tighten enough or provide enough support to the lower ankle.- Average (at best) materials are not particularly durable.

This brace looks very good and seems to be made of good quality materials. It has a unique way to tighten it. There is a knob that you need to push down and then twist it until it is tight enough. To release it, all you need to do is to pull the knob out and then you can easily loosen it up. It is pretty easy to put this on or take it off which is the great advantage of this brace over similar ones I have seen.The main problem is that the support is mediocre. It is more like a sleeve that you use around your ankle. It does help a little bit, but I would not consider it a brace but rather something a bit better than a compression sleeve. I think the price (currently at $34.99) is very expensive for what it is since you can find much better support than this for that range.Overall, it is more like compression sleeve and not brace. If you are looking for a brace with extra support, this is not it.
