Most delicious veg hot dogs ever
My friend shared these dogs with me years ago, and I loved them. We ate them a couple of times throughout the years, and in the mean time, I’ve casually looked for them in different health food stores, but never seem to find them. So recently I thought about them again, and decided to look online. The price is high, but It’s worth it. I’ve been a vegetarian my whole life and have tried a variety of veg hot dogs. These are easily the BEST.

These vegetarian plant based jumbo hot dogs are a staple in my home.
Admittedly, I am biased towards these. I have been eating them for over 40 years, way before all these “new” plant-based products. Delicious, nicely textured, high in protein and low in fat and carbs.

Taste good
I've been a vegetarian for 51 years. My family has been eating these for 45 years. You cannot boil these. You have to saute them in frying pan with a small amount of vegetable or olive oil on low/medium and turn ever so often. They are like sausages because they are more spicy than the Loma Linda Linketts which are more like hot dogs and you cook the same way.

Don't expect them to taste just like meat, because they don't, but they are very good and have 0 cholesterol.
Loma Linda Foods have been around since 1890. I have been eating them most of my life. Don't expect them to taste just like meat, because they don't, but they are very good and have 0 cholesterol. I mash the big franks, add mayo, sweet pickles and let it stand in the refrigerator for an hour to 24 hr. Makes "hamless salad" sandwiches. Tweak it to suit your own taste.

Big Franks are much healthier for you than beef hot dogs.
Love these franks! We've been eating big franks for 40 years. They are as close to what I remember a regular hot dog tastes like which we haven't had in 45 years! We like them with cabbage cooked in butter, chopped up in a frittata, or on a roll with hot dog fixings.

I love them! The texture and flavor are a bit ...
My wife grew up eating these. I'm a lifelong carnivore and was not sure what to make of them at first.I love them! The texture and flavor are a bit different than an actual hot dog, but in a good way: they're denser, maybe a little softer, and more flavorful. I usually have at least a couple when she boils a batch!

OK ..... I guess.
I ordered 6 cans, opened the first can really excited to have found a healthy alternative to meat. Unfortunately after preparing them I struggled to finish eating them, in fact I didn't. They didn't taste bad, but they didn't taste good either. Determined to try again, I prepared more, and again I failed. I'm the kind of person that believes in doing whats best and healthy for myself, regardless of how challenging it may be. So again I said I'm going to incorporate these into my healthier way of eating, more determined than ever, I prepared more, sat down, and after a little while my smile turned upside down, I ate as much as I could then threw them out. So sorry self! Eww!! Eeek!! I just don't like them!
