I've been magnet fishing several times now. The River Thames is the go to place for pulling out wierd and wonderful items, and this magnet does the job really well. The fact it comes in a sturdy box is an added bonus. I'm a support worker, and I asked the person I support (who's Autistic) whether he would like to give it a go - he agreed. He really enjoyed it (even though he only pulled up a 1p piece) and has said he now wants to buy his own.

The magnet is great, not a problem there but where there is a problem is your not getting EVERYTHING in the picture, if one looks at the caliper and if you see wear the rope is attached to it, you'll notice a blue plastic rope protector.. ya dont get this!?.. and it's not a silly thing to have because it's actually rather beneficial to have it. Why they show that bit, but not have it in the product I don't know..Plus the knot they did for the caliper was completely wrong and I could undo it by just pulling on it with my hands. Imagine if some new person (to magnet fishing) was to get this not checking the knots and then throws it in ONLY then for the knot to go and fail.. lost magnet right there gents!Please check the knot if you get this and if it's rubbish, redo.. its really easy and only a youtube tutorial away 👍The gloves are decent, although the "rubber" on them really smells lol. It's wired though because it's not a good smell but not an absolute horrible one either 😅.The ninja hook is quite small but it'll do for most things.Also, Be generous with the thread lock! it's states on the manual to apply couple of drops but it really doesn't hurt to put a good amount on there to be 110% safe. Plus you get a decent amount of it. far plenty to go around for other magnets to which one might decide to get in the future.. oh almost forgot, you'll need to wait 24hours for the thread lock to fully cure but info circulating around suggest after an hour or so the *cure* should be about 50%, so use that as you wish. This info is based off of warm temps.The black case, that is alright I suppose, but it will probably crack if nocked hard enough or accidentally dropped, the plastic of it isn't that thick. Looks cool though 😃 I'll probably use it for something other than magnet fishing.

The quality of the products are amazing. came with a free hat 😂, i would honestly be paying more for all of this, the strength of the magnet is very good. for only paying £40 in total with the product and delivery, this an amazing starter for magnet fishing 👍

This magnet is terrible! I'm sorry but for the money it's not worth it pay a bit more and buy the beast magnet in stead if u need to get anything out of the river we magnet fish all the time and my son wanted the purple one but that's it's only selling point! It will attach to things but no way it will lift it out! We need to use beast for that the extent this magnet will actually lift is bottle caps pennies and nails a few bolts but anything heavier forget it! Please don't waste your money on this magnet I wish I hadn't as now they all fight over the beast but I'm disabled so it's something I enjoy with my grown kids but very expensive if u have little money coming in as it is so now saving for another beast but if u are serious magnet fishers then don't waste money on inferior magnets like this one and go for 360 if u can?

Tried magnet at local river was surprisingly strong pulled out a bike and more great value for money keep it dry and its good to go next time great quality product and loads of fun my 12 year old daughter wants one

This is a very nice kit. The magnet is very strong and seems well made. The included paracord should be sufficiently long enough for most users. Makes for a fun hobby!

The magnet is so strong and durable not that expensive the performance was so good I got a lot of stuff good size I can take it everywhere and so fun to play with

I have purchased three 2000pnd 360's and one 3600pnd 360 magnets. All have been of the highest Quality and stick to about everything. I have no complaints about the magnets. The problems I do have is in the paper work with the magnets. It states threadlocker or a lock washer would be included with all magnets. There was none included on any one of the orders. I took the 3600 eyebolt out to put threadlocker on it and found it had it on it. I do believe the 2000 magnets are also threadlocked already.(please let me know if I am wrong about the threadlock.) There should be a slip of paper in with these magnets telling you it was done already. Also there is no way to contact the company direct about it. The 3600 magnet, when delivered, was bouncing around the outer shipping box scratched and mard. It broke out of its box it was pack in. Also trying to put threadlock on it made it worse.(Not easy at all to do.) Not having the proper equipment.The magnets are great, just as advertised.But the shipping and the theadlock problem turned out to be a nightmare. (Shipping was not a problem on the 2000pnd magnets. Just the threadlocker.)

Unfortunately, I had to buy a second one because my first one somehow came off my rope, but I enjoyed using it and I will do the same with this one
