Reptilian

I enjoyed this book. It’s a good quick book to read with an interesting story. Nothing too serious, just fun.

I really enjoyed the book: good pacing, fleshed out characters and the monsters (lizard men and the human "villain") were actually scary! However, I felt there was too much mentioning of the main character's backstory with the constant references to sea raptors, and too many times I wondered if I there was a book that I was supposed to read before this. Later I learned that there is indeed another book that precedes this. Reptilian could totally stand alone as its own story and I felt like the sea raptors were distractions to sell more books. The revelation at the end was a bit of a let down (more foreshadowing could've made it more satisfying), but overall it was a very enjoyable read.

This book was both a good action and horror story. Mr. Rust used the myth of the lizard man and intertwined it with his already created team to create a story of suspence. Along the way he through in a few nutters and basically played upon general human nature. All in all it was an enjoyable read.

If you like action/horror then read this book. Its pretty standard stuff. Well written and well edited. A very fast paced story with good characters. My only small complaint is, as a gun-guy, I hate when an author uses the term clip instead of magazine. Strangely, the author switched to the correct term halfway through the book. Also, I would imagine that professional crypto-hunters would be packing larger calibers than just 9mm and such. No big complaints though. Its a good book. I want to see more from these characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Lizard Man legend. Reptilian is a fast-paced action/adventure about a group of specialists that try to save a South Carolina town from the vicious creatures. There is also an ex-marine conspiracy theorist that believes the Lizard Men are from another world and becomes an even deadlier threat to the community. Likeable characters that will keep readers turning the pages.

This was such a creepy story. I would definitely recommend this book to read if you are a fan of any horror. 10/10

Very good story..kept me interested from beginning to end..I really like the core group of characters and I hope there are more books to come

This book was a complete waste of time. The lead character was not interesting, but rather pitiable and unredeemable, the tone of the book repeatedly swung from hopeless to hopeful, character backstories were just a passing mention, and the background characters were stereotypical and very uninteresting. At the end, I just didn't care.

If you like totally over the top, all action creature features - and I'm one who does - then this is for you. It's all unbelievable of course but I loved every blood soaked moment of it.
