Good gentlemans folder!
I was looking for a light, easy to carry gentleman's knife and found the Urban Trapper series. I bought the tanto version purely for the unique grind of the blade. Since I've had the knife a while (since late April) I thought I would share a few of the pros and cons.Pros: - Weight - The titanium handle is slim AND drilled out making this an extremely lightweight pocket knife. Very easy to carry with the possible exception of the flipper tab (see cons below) - Finish - I was very impressed with the finish on both the blade and handle. The blade has a very pleasing satin/brushed finish. The handle has a well done stone wash (at least I'm fairly certain that's what it is). But, what really makes the handle beautiful is contrast of the stone wash to the polished beveled edges in each of the holes. Most photos really don't do this justice. It's a nice detail. - Blade - Very unique looking and probably not everyone's cup of tea. I like it mostly because I've always liked the looks of tanto style blades. The high flat grind on the rear portion of the blade makes it different and interesting. And it makes slicing a bit easier. - Pocket clip - It's a deep carry that's short and a bit wide. It keeps the knife stable in the pocket and the finish matches the handle. - Flipping action - The IKBS makes this thing flip MUCH better than I anticipated. Very smooth with good detent.Cons: - Blade - The tanto style is beautiful, but not the most practical for Since I've had the knife a while (since late April) I thought I would share a few of the pros and cons.Pros: - Weight - The titanium handle is slim AND drilled out making this an extremely lightweight pocket knife. Bad quality control?
From reading other reviews it seems that some people got an entirely different knife compared to mine. The knife I got was almost perfect, but the tanto edge was not sharpened. It felt like there was no bevel even, so I don't know how that was missed during production. For the price I expect better quality control, but if you get lucky it is a very nice and lightweight knife that competes handily with knives like the Benchmade Bugout.

Don't bother. Is Crap.
Complete Crap. 3 major issues. 1st is when closing the centering is that off the blade rubs the one side. Blade on that side is totally scuffed up. 2nd is blade is so loose when open you can wiggle it from side to side and majority feel it. Really?! 3rd the pocket clip is over a 1/4 inch above the surface of the handle. Is not even close to touching. Is more of a pocket hanger than a pocket clip. Too many issues for a brand new knife. Their quality control department is asleep at the wheel. Or non existent. If it wasn't for those 3 glaring issues it would have been a nice knife. Is terrible and way not worth the money. My local farmers market has better knives than this for 20$. I have over 70 some folders and this is the worst I have ever received. Also came with an L shaped star wrench for making adjustments. That does not fit the pivot screw!! Is too small. What a joke. Everything about this is bad. Could not get any worse. Wanted their Kwaiken flipper. That's not gonna happen now. Surprised this company is still in business with quality like this. Total garbage.

EDC/ Quality
It came in perfectly sharp! Sharp enough to shave with. It opens smoothly and locks well. It is extreamy lightweight and almost feels non existant in your pocket. I would definitely recomend this knife for a gentlemans EDC.

Amazing quality
I always carry a knife and I've had quite a few. This one is extremely high quality and I couldn't really ask for more. I have had zero issues with it. I love the steel/titanium, the weight and the deep carry clip, most of the time I have to check to make sure it's even there it's so minimal. The blade opening is so smooth, it's one of the best knives I've ever had. I have NO regrets with this brand I've never heard of lol. I've carried SOG, Benchmade, Kershaw, CRKT, Buck, and Gerber. This is a gem and absolutely love it.
