So Far So Good
I ordered this thermometer because I have had to return multiple different assorted models due to inaccuracy, I had to be patient for the slow delivery. It says MADE IN GERMANY and was shipped from Europe. When it arrived it was registering at the high limit because of extended time in the delivery system. It needed extended time in the cooler room temperature and lots of shake downs before the level would go down. But once I got it there it seemed to read a normal temperature and shake back down to no reading easily. The product came with a plastic fixture where you stick the thermometer for shake downs. This fixture makes them work much better. So far I am happy, but it will take more time to confirm this.EDIT* I have used it now for about a week and it is holding up and accurate so far. It shakes down easy.

Poorly constructed
I don't know just how accurate this is because it broke within the first week. The liquid reservoir separated from the glass body just from trying to shake down the fluid to below 98 degrees. I expected better.

accurate but need to make certain under the tongue and keep it there for a few minutes
i like the fact that it isn't mercury filled . It also is accurate but it needs to be placed best under the tongue and make certain don't drink anything hot or cold right before using it. its too bad they didn\t make a magnifier over the red section for easy reading.

They do not work.
I ordered 2 of these. Neither worked. They came in a paper envelope, partially covered in bubble wrap. They were placed in a metal mailbox that was exceedingly hot, as the outside temperature was in the upper 90's to low 100's as the day went by. I asked an RN (registered nurse) to try to shake down the thermometer - it was stuck at 99 degrees. She was also unable to move the substance down. These thermometers are encased in a very thin plastic housing; I suspect they would break easily even if the did initially work. I'm very disappointed.

It’s accurate!
You need Superman vision to be able to read it!
