I am using these scissors to cut the Fireline that I use to make jewelry. The price cannot be beat and they are nice and small so they do not take up much room on my jewelry work table.I have found that they make a nice clean cut on brand new Fireline, but not always on Fireline that has been "worked".

These scissors work great. You will struggle if you try to cut braid with regular scissors. The serrations on these scissors help to captivate the braided line and cut it cleanly. Other methods can cut braided line, but it will usually leave an end that looks like something was chewing on it. This product cuts its clean. Floro or mono are a breeze.Best thing about these is that there are 3 of them and they each come with a retainer. I have one in the boat and one in the shop where I tie my rigs and periodically spool fresh line on my reels. That leaves one for a backup. Or maybe for a friend.
