STANLEY STHT36000-812 3-Meter Tough Case Measurement Tape

Not just for household or hobby use, it should be good for high performance professional requirement as well.The exterior is cast in solid, durable material and has well formed grooves to give a great grip.The tape itself is acceptably okay, won't call it PERFECT given the thickness could have been slightly more, but should last several uses, unless one's not cautious about rough handling.The tape coils and incoils effortlessly, can't feel any hindrance while pulling it all the three meters. Same goes for when you let go of the locking mechanism, the tape snaps back in really quick and without need for extra pull /push unless it's been bent or twisted across obstructions.The size seems fit for most hand sizes, and weight is just about perfect.Not sure how it measures up against competion, so unless you're too finicky (like me) you should be happy with the buy.

I have purchased this Stanley tape some months ago at Rs. 149 from seller Cloudtail India.About the tape:It have good quality, the tape material is probably iron but it is not rusted till now, it is hard enough to that you can put it out vertically and it will stand vertically without being loos from middle. It also looks good and have a tough case. I have attached the images and you can see that it have both centimeters and inch/feet readings.It have a button by which it can be adjusted to three positions, at 1st place the tape you can adjust the tape and it will go inside automatically if you leave it. At second place you can still pull or push tape outside or inside respectively. And at 3rd place the tape will be at locked position. Remember it takes a lot of time to write a detailed review.Overall it's a great buy for doing measurements yourself. Go ahead and buy.

I've been using it for more than a year and no complaints so far. Good build quality with add-on features like locking. Little pricey as compared to generic brands but these will last longer.

The product is good and there is no doubt about it. But, I am really disappointed at the fact that I bought it for Rs. 262 when the printed MRP is Rs. 209. I found another review that mentions the same. So, as a matter of fact, the customers are still being cheated.

How? I ordered for the 3m and received the 5m. ☺ The quality is premium, trust me. Im very particular when it comes to quality. Moreover, the seller is cloudtail( the most trusted seller out here, according to me) and i paid only Rs: 154/- and yeah! It has both the cm and inches. What a lovely day it is

The product is good but the only issue is the stopper is too clumsy to work with and needs a lot of effort to work properly

Got it in lightning deal for Rs 149. The black button locks the tape in place while you jot down the measurements. Easy to read in both inches and cms. Case is sturdy with steel clip. CAUTION: When you release the lock, be careful, it recoils sharply back into the case, so don't keep it near face or hand, it could get cut. MRP Rs 235 on pack.
