This filter is just one of those things where time tells how great it is at it's function.As far as installation goes... It was super easy.

This scale and lime filter appears to be made of quality and has a solids feel about it.This inline scale filter does appear to be made of stainless still and nickel plated brass. At first glance for its size you may not think much of it until you pick it up. It has a wright a about it that tells you it is a quality piece.This filter appears to be easy install just place in piping running to you single spout faucet, whether that is a shower head, kitchen sink, bathroom sink and ect.. The filter comes in box as a one piece unit with instillation instructions.I will update this review over time once installed to describe the performance of the this piece.

Seems incredibly high quality construction, but instructions are incredibly vague. They seem to indicate you should install it somewhere before the hot water heater?The instructions need more detail in the proper placement of this filter - the lack of such make it seem questionable.

I just received this and know it's going to be months before I'll know how well it works. Here's what I like so far: the product seems very well made and is very well packaged. What I don't like: teeny tiny instruction type that I can barely read with no clear way to determine if there is a flow direction I need to be mindful of. We have a toilet that has especially bad hard water, making it very difficult to keep clean. It's the only one in the house with this problem. I had planned to put this on the line to this toilet to see if it would help with the scale buildup, but now I'm going to call a plumber who knows more about how this should be installed (flow direction?!?) before doing it. It's also unclear to me if this device works well with cold water. Again, the instructions are darned near impossible to read. So consider this an incomplete review at this point. I will come back and update if the number of stars should change.
