Great Quality Henna!
I did a Hendigo hair coloring treatment (henna and indigo and amla for dark ash brown color and strength to cover grays) and it took brilliantly using this brand of henna! It is a creamy Henna once mixed and it mixed really well with other powders that I use for health and strength when I'm coloring my hair such as fenugreek. The color has lasted and it made my hair very strong without making it hard (likely helped by the ingredients I added). You get a LOT which is great because I have a lot of hair. It's effective and proved well. I would absolutely repurchase!

love the great natural hair color with vibrant results
Love that it gave me a beautiful orange-red color. The paste is smooth and applied well without clumping, and I was happy with the results and that it was long-lasting for me.

Pure henna (red effect)
Many powders advertised as Henna are mixed powders, which give brown or black effects. This one is pure Henna powder, so you get thar red-orange tone that must sit and develop before use, and which changes in your hair in the few days after dying. I'm happy to have found pure henna, yet wish there were better use instructions. For those experienced in the henna dying process, I think this will probably work well. This is a much more entailed process than simply coloring hair with box dye from a supermarket!

Could be better
Anyone who’s used henna before knows it’s a pain in the bum to deal with, because of how long the whole process is. It tells you to use the whole pack for mid long hair which I did and only ended up needing half because the directions were wrong. It has 400g but says the full pack is 200g. So if you have medium long hair half the pack would be just fine.I left it on for 3 hours and it took about 3 days to fully develop. The color was initially a lot more red than I wanted but it deepened over some days. It was supposed to leave my hair more healthy but instead made it super tangly and kinda straw-like. So overall it was good as far as color but I hate how it made my hair feel.

All natural and free of mixtures
Overall, we really liked this mendhi (henna). We've used many brands before and often while they advertised it wasn't mixed but we found it was. We use henna primarily for hair becasue it's all natural and helps the scalp. This was perfect and was advertised correctly. Definitely a quality grade henna! We first will take about a cup or two of henna, and mix it with coffee (we'll brew a cup or two and let it cool) and one egg. Then we will apply it on our hair and leave it on for about 3 hours before washing it off. This was perfect and highly recommended.

Good price for good quality henna powder
Good quality henna powder at a good price point. I personally have used henna off and on for many years to dye my hair. For the quantity, this is cheaper than a lot of the other henna hair dyes that I have bought previously. Some of those are marketed specifically as hair dyes but since they only contain one ingredient, henna, it's not really necessary to spend the extra money when you can buy the pure henna powder for cheaper.

Great pure henna for hair and more
I have been henna-ing my hair for many years now. I use it as a blend with Cassia obovata to create the color I like. Sometimes, I'll go to a real salon and get some highlights put in, so it is very important to me that the henna I use is pure henna, with out any metals or additives that would react poorly with more traditional salon treatments. This henna fits the bill well. It blends well without making a ton of lumps. It is 100% pure Lawsonia inermis without any additives. It develops into a nice red color when processed. The bag doesn't reseal the best but that is common with a lot of these because the powder gets stuck in the little grooves. It would also be nice to know where in India the henna was grown. Technically the variation of color difference between where henna grown in negligible, but it is something I like to know.
