Fast and efficient
I have a large pool for my ducks to swim in and I needed something to help empty it so I can clean it. This works great. Added a screen to it and it get all the water out without sucking up the grime and less liter. Decently priced too!

Strong pump, not sure about that float switch
I bought this water pump for my basement which tends to flood every now and then. I finally got to use the pump recently, I only had about 4 in of in the basement, when I plugged the pump it wouldn't start up. I realized it wasn't deep enough for the float switch. Even though it was floating and apparently wasn't enough I had to hold the float switch upright to get the pump to turn on. Once the pump turned on it drained the water very fast, and surprisingly wasn't that noisy compared to other pumps that I've used in the past. It definitely had a very strong suction power and drained my entire basement within just a few minutes.This pump is fully submersible, I think it would work great in a pond or pool.

Works as it should
I used this pump to replace one that had been in service for about five years,it works well,and the price could not be beat locally.

Stopped working 15 minutes after first use.
Mine was great out of the box, then 1/2 way it just stopped working. I thought it may be the outlet but tested it with another appliance and it works. I’ve tried attaching the float switch to the pump letting it float, it just won’t come on. When it did work it was doing great but it didn’t last 15 min!

Works good
We have a rut by our house that build water in storms and staring flooded into the house. We sat this thing straight on the ground in the puddle and water was gone in minutes. Kept it running through the storm and it worked great. Good product to have on hand.
