Got this for my niece for her birthday.This new Exploding Kittens game - ‘Catchables’, comes with 4 catchable kittens and 12 action cards for each catchable, each with a unique design. As per the norm with Exploding Kittens, the designs are bizarre and equally hilarious!The aim is simple. Throw a catchable in the air catch it again whilst performing whatever action is on the action card(s) in front of you. You can play the cards against opponents so it’s harder for them to catch the catchable and the first to complete 5 action card stunts before catching the catchable wins. Easy, right? Wrong!The cards have things such as tap leg, catch between legs, stand on 1 foot etc. Easy to do 1, but 5… not so much!The beauty of this game is the simplicity. You pick four cards for yourself and all players put their remaining 8 cards together, face down on a table. These are then shuffled and put into a draw pile. To start, a player takes a card from their hand and places it face up in front of them for them to complete themselves. On your turn you throw and catch your catchable whilst performing all actions on the cards in front of you. You get 3 tries and if you succeed you get to put 2 action cards onto 2 other players piles! Naughty! If you fail, you have to discard one or more of the cards into a discard pile. At the end of your turn, you must draw a card until you have at least 3. Once you’ve got 5 and complete them successfully, you win!Ok, it sounds mad from my description but it’s dead easy to play. I can’t understand any instructions at my age but I totally get this and my niece and her friends had an absolute blast playing this. Lots of loud laughter and screaming. Brilliant!Overall, I’m really happy with this Catchable game. It’s nicely designed, simple to play and will produce tons of fun and laughter. This 4 pack means that between 2-4 players can play. The more the merrier!

I've been a big fan of the Exploding Kittens brand and loved many of their previous games. I've been reviewing a number of their games via the Amazon Vine program and this game keeps pace with the rest.A simple and easy to follow game with the classic Exploding Kittens twist. There are a number of Catchables that are shared between those that are playing and each player takes it in turn to throw and catch the Catchables. Seems simple enough right? But add the twist of a number of action cards that need to be followed and you have a hilarious attempts at catching that now seem that little more challenging.Even with simple actions like jumping up and down or standing on one leg can make throwing and catching an item that little more challenging. The rules are forgiving enough and it's something that you can tailor for the audience, like we give our boys a few more attempts before they 'fail' the action.End game is to try and get 5 completed actions to be declared the winner! A simple but challenging game! Love it!

I'm a big fan of Exploding Kitten games and was excited to add another one to the collection. Catchables is a pretty simple game and it can be quick and easy to get started. The box includes cards and four catchable cats with whacky but fun designs. The aim is to follow the actions on the cards before catching the catchable. It can be a lot of fun, I would say ideal for families as it can be enjoyed by all ages.One note I would have is I feel there was a lot of wasted space in the box for what was just the catchables and a small deck of cards, would be nice to see less wasted packaging in the future!

These New Catchables from Exploding Kittens offer more fun and games from this brilliant brand .This set includes 4 of the Catchables -Rainbow Ralphing CatSelf Care CatBlack Hole Cat&Eggs N' Bakey CatThere are 8 others in the set but you only need two for a competitive game.Each Catchable has its own unique set of 12 cards ranging in difficulty from very easy to quite tricky - challenging catching skills , balance , reflexes and multi tasking all come into play.Love the designs , all bright and coloursful. The Catchables are squidgy and a good shape for juggling too . They sometimes bounce especially off the end of your fingers if you don't quite catch them.You need space ,energy and a level of physical ability in throwing and catching but you can adapt rules for those younger , older or less physically able- the first to do 5 card actions on their throw wins .It’s not as easy as it sounds and as with all EK games the play can change in an instant.Great fun , all ages bring their own skills and we’ll be looking forward to collecting the others and adding them to our game .

I ordered this on 21 Aug 2024 and it arrived on 10th September so I was really hyped to see if this was any good as it must've been in high demand. It's ok, it's a variation on jacks where you throw something in the air and then perform an action before catching it. It's a bit of fun and will be entertaining at Christmas. £19.99 at the time of review is the other reason why I can't give this 5 stars.

We absolutely love Exploding Kittens games in our house, and we play one more or less every games night that we host!The Catchables game is a cool collectible game, where each different collectible cat comes with their own cards that let you expand the game!This pack comes with 4 collectible foamy, themed 'Catchables' that come with 12 unique cards each with different actions. These actions can then be added to the larger deck to expand the game.The game is fun and gets everyone up on their feet, and has provided us endless laughs whenever we have played it. It was definitely a hit with our friends!
