Fun, creative sewing for kids
This is the best toy for aspiring designers. It is simple but so fun. My daughter is 10 and she has loved designing barbie clothes. It comes with all sorts of embellishments. You can teach them simple sewing or opt for double sided tape. The patterns are really neat as well. Tons of different fabrics.

This is the perfect gift for an eight year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves this gift! She was able to sketch her design and make it without needing to use a sewing machine.

Cute designer kit for hours of creative fun, introduces basic sewing techniques
Cute kit to introduce kids to some basic sewing skills like cutting out a pattern, measuring, using a needle to gather and tack, and using straight pins to secure the pattern to fabric for cutting. There’s a good selection of fabric and decorative pieces, like bows, gems, ribbons, and beads. The child-sized scissors are useless; they won’t cut fabric or paper. To avoid frustration I’m replacing them with better ones before allowing my granddaughter to use this kit. Five templates for different types of dresses are provided on sturdy paper that should hold up through multiple uses. Although there is a description at the top of each template, it would have been better to print the description on each pattern piece as, once cut out, the child won’t know what type dress the piece makes. One mannequin package was split open and two pieces were missing, so we can use only four of the five.Assembly tip: Insert the gripper piece first into the back of the mannequin. Then begin clipping front and back mannequin pieces together beginning with the neck; otherwise, the pieces might not fit completely together at some areas.

Bought this for my Granddaughter she absolutely loves it, it is not just fun, it is interesting to be able to see the many designs that can be done. Great value for all the things included in this kit, it has really pretty colors of material, and jewels, beads, thread, ribbon so many things included in this kit. Makes a great gift

One of the mannequins was broken upon arrival
One of the mannequins was broken upon arrival. There were still others to play with. My 5 year old can do some things but it might be better for an older child. She does love it and requires significant help.
