Powerful and compared to top name brand penny for dollar in value .
So I’m telling you I not seen anything this won’t do that a snap on does plus it does more . I have programed 11 keys in last ford honda Toyota bladed non bladed gm dodge even done one older bmw in last3 year first starting with D7 now I using a Ip919 pro ( I think that the model ) . Using the oem side for key programming is not my prefer way . I use the rest function slide of the tool as it seems to be more powerful in pushing the code to the module and programming the keys. As with any scanner u have a learning curve. But the xtool brands all have the same interface they just change in just more or less options ie rest functions screen size hardware but this is a must have brand so buy what can afford and no matter what u buy u will be happy. But id u can budget this pro IP919 model u will be amazed at the speed and power of this thing and it comes with everything u need to use obd1 adapters as well . The range on the WiFi i sit inside the ac while i scan and build a report to print out on my wireless printer to give the customer. The bat is insane is last me 3/4 days id I dont put it in the charger Stand witch is amazing . So if u can buy the IP919 i promise u that it best money u can spend on a scanner .Note sorry for typos and spelling I don’t have my gasses on .

Professional tool, great customer service.
This review is 8 months after ownership.I am a hobbyist working on my cars only. I regretted buying it at the beginning. However, after using it for a while, I love it.The amount of updates you get almost daily amaze me. Support team is always eager to help.It is worth every penny specially if you own German cars.Live data and topology scan are very accurate and helpful.high quality build, good size and not too heavy to carry around.Only thing I noticed is battery life dropped recently, i charge it once a week but only use it for couple of hours over the weekend. It pays for itself quickly after 1 or 2 major repairs.

Capable and trustworthy scanner
Purchasing a scan tool on a budget is stressful. I do mobile repair, so I need quick accurate diagnosis, so far this tool has exceeded my expectations. I've only had 1 glitch so far, sometimes you plug into a car with compromised electronics and that's never good for a scan tool. Contacted customer support and they responded right away!. it took just a simple push of the reset and power on button simultaneously and back in business again proving to me that this tool is hardy as well! I'm happy with it! There are so many things that this scan tool is capable of, but I just wanted to put it out there that this X Tool IP919 Pro is very capable and worthy of my trust!!

Fixed My Mustang's Issue When the Dealership Couldn't — Highly Recommend!
I am by no means an expert mechanic, but I own four cars (two Corollas, a Mustang V6, and a Mustang GT). I recently purchased the GT, and it has a strange issue with the climate control system (I won't go into all the details here). Since the car is under warranty, I took it to the dealership, but they were unable to fix the problem. The dealership performed an evacuation and recharge of the A/C system, though I had a feeling that wouldn’t solve anything. They also replaced two actuators. Altogether, they kept the car for two weeks but still couldn't resolve the issue.Eventually, I decided to purchase a bidirectional scan tool. I already had a good experience with XTool products — I previously used their TPMS scanner to replace my 2011 TPMS sensors without any problems — so I trusted their brand. It turned out to be a great decision. Within just a few hours, I was able to identify and fix the problem myself: one of the actuator arms had snapped out of its joint. No matter how many actuators they replaced, they were never going to fix the problem without addressing that. (See the attached picture where I've marked the location.)The scan tool also comes with plenty of accessories. I really appreciate that it charges by simply being placed on a charging dock — no need to plug it in every time.Overall, this was a very positive experience for me. I would definitely recommend this tool to others. Again, I’m not a professional mechanic, but if you are mechanically inclined, this tool is absolutely worth having.
