The heel measures 3/4 of an inch (about 20cm) to the bottom of the sole.

Q: Are the black ones shiny like tuxedo shoes?

These are not shiny like patent leather, however they have a nice shine because of the smooth leather. Florsheim has a few choices in patent leather (tuxedo shoes) on their website.

Q: Are these counterfeit?

No! I purchased the Florsheim Lexington Wingtip Oxfords in burgundy. They have quickly become my go to dress shoe. They look great dressed up with a suit and tie or dressed down with slim jeans or slacks and white dress shirt or golf shirt. I definitely recommend these shoes
