Wrapped in the plastic initially I was certain that I’d been sent the black one by mistake! I now love my new backpack - it is SO, SO much lighter than my cork one (carrying the same laptop, cables and lunch with room to spare). There are almost too many pockets but they are thoughtfully placed and don’t reduce the internal dimensions.The front pocket lays horizontal when you swing the bag off your shoulder… I only wish it was opened on the other side because I use the wrong arm!Worth its price, would buy again - I’m hoping the warranty means I won’t ever have to.

If you are looking for a bag that you can stuff to the seams to minimize check-in luggage fees, this is not the bag for you, but if you are looking for a well structured, compact backpack with convenient pockets (including a long horizontal one on the back that allows for easy access to passports, IDs, or tickets, while safely carrying a laptop, large iPad, two cell phones, multiple chargers, standard sized book, travel pillow, blanket, scarf, travel cardigan or jacket, flip flop to switch into for the long flights, and snacks, this bag fits the bill. I have many bags for work (including luxury brand totes costing thousands), and thought I’d use this for travel only, but I now use it now as my daily work bag. Definitely worth the price.

Our luggage is Briggs and Riley and we've had them for several years. They're sturdy, well designed, and have a lifetime warranty. This backpack has the same sturdiness and quality of design as the luggage. Highly recommended.

I've travelled over 2.5M miles, and B&R is my go to brand. I finally got the medium wide mouth back pack to make getting to meetings easier. I was using the small B&R cabin bag, but everything was a mess in that. My laptop & charger, spare charger gadget bag, headphones and case, kindle all fit neatly with plenty of room to spare. It fits perfect snug on my suitcase handles for the times I have to dash in the airport for connections. You can pay more for other brands with a shorter warranty, but why would you do that to yourself?
