Great in tight spaces
It fit all the plugs I needed and I could remove a bunch of adapters. With the flat outlet, I could move furniture piece closer to the wall. Worked out perfectly.

Perfect for multiple small kitchen appliances
I bought this becuase all of my small kitchen appliances have cords that are so short they need to be right on top of the outlet to plug in. I have my coffee maker and toaster oven on the kitchen table and there is an outlet underneath it. The coffeemaker reaches the outlet, but nothing else does. This is perfect for keeping the toaster oven plugged in, as well as anything else I want to use. (I will often use a crock pot or electric griddle on the table, as well). The USB ports come in handy as I can just leave a cable there and charge my phone whenever I'm in the kitchen. I wanted the outlets that can "close" because I have curious cats and don't want them to get zapped! (I also flip the switch when not in use as an extra precaution). Can be mounted on the wall, which I may consider, looks like it would be easy enough. I'm overall pretty happy with this product.

Filled the bill
I ordered this item to replace a traditional plug that would not allow my furniture to be close to the wall. The flat head plug, plus the two USB ports, made this the best choice.

PRODUCT LISTING HAS FLAWS - DEVICE IS FINE
Decent surge power strip. Like other reviews -outlets could be farther apart to accommodate larger charger adapters. Cord length good for my needs. The 1500 joule rating (if that is true?)is a plus. Now for the listing - As pics clearly show - the outlets DO NOT "twist to close" and joules are 1500 & NOT 1300 in the description. Another Amazon listing flub as whom ever is listing items needs to pay attention or proof read.

Not as pictured
Overall the outlet is fine. If you are expecting a FLAT plug it is not as flat as the picture. Also if you liked the cover over the un-used outlet it is not as pictured. Someone did post a picture of the exact product.For me these two items are not a deal breaker, I like the look of the Outlet Surge Protector, it works greatI would buy it again but now I know what I will actually be getting.

Works great, USB ports a nice feature
Selected this primarily for the joules it can buffer, the flat plug, and the 2 USB spots.Very happy. Having the USBs on the surge strip saves space used by converters.The only annoyance is the incredibly bright blue light that alerts you that the buffer is still working. A less bright light, or a different color, would be an improvement.A nice product overall.
