Clear view
A quick tryout on some fine print about 2 to 3 inches away with no magnification The image was clear. The picture taken with the cell phone camera is lacking compared to the screen of the device. Definitely would Recommend this item.

Works Great!
Husband used this to look in our Jeep gas tank. It worked as described and he could see the fuel. Was checking to see if there was sediment in the gas tank. Did not immerse it but saw everything he needed to see! Recommended.

Challenging DIY
Ok, I tried to hook up to the tail light wire myself (I’m not a car person) using videos and the internet and I couldn’t do it. I have a 2008 car so it pretty much has no technology. I was able to connect to the Bluetooth very easily and used the microphone and speaker through the provided monitor. And it wasn’t too bad. I could not get the monitor to stay upright on the dash even though it felt very sturdy and tight. I have a little Mazda Miata so not a whole lot of room there. I will need to pay to have someone hook up the back up camera though. It’s a nice setup, maybe for a little bigger of a car though.

Great scope!
This borescope is a game changer! We've used it to retrieve an air hose from inside the wall of my car trailer, and also to figure out how to remove a tv from the wall. The picture is very clear. The cable is long, and flexible, but also stays in shape when bent into a certain position.

Ergonomic – big screen - affordable
The media could not be loaded. Until not so long ago, the borescope as a tool was only available to big professional automotive shops and technicians that can afford it, but that’s not the case anymore. This very practical tool now became popular and affordable for any garage car enthusiast or handyman. This is no doubt a powerful and versatile tool to have in your toolbox and very handy for a lot of uses and can save a lot of money in diagnostics (with just one use), also can help to recover objects, or just to evaluate and check parts and components that were otherwise inaccessible without it.I like its big color screen, and the handheld that allows easy operation with one hand while use the other to guide the semirigid black cord with the camera at the end. It provides a decent resolution (1080), screen’s bright can be adjusted for a better view as well as the camera end light so it will be handy to scope certain shiny areas. Also, the view in the screen can be reversed (180 degrees rotation) which is useful to identify locations and space up/down. Another positive feature is its long cord (about 16’) which is semi-rigid so it can be pointed out where you need it, but over the full length will be very difficult to maneuver the camera to point at one desired spot, aside that is IP67, so it can be used in water pipes. One shortcoming to note is that this device does not have capabilities to take “snapshots” or record the scan, and this is a usual feature that is included in some devices from other suppliers (with similar price). After using these devices for some time and then compare them with others more ‘high-end’ (albeit more expensive), one really useful feature that these ‘entry-level’ devices lack, is the ability to control, adjust and articulate ‘at wish’ the camera head movement once you reach with the cord the area to scope. I really hope that soon, as technology progress and becomes cheaper, this great functionality can be included in a future model.Overall, considering all features included (and lack of), is still a very practical tool, easy to use (no ‘pairing’ or interconnect needed, just turn-on and use it); is powered by a rechargeable battery inside (no replacement batteries needed); and although still no storage case is included, if you’re are looking for an affordable and versatile endoscope, easy to operate, with a decent size and quality image, this will check all marks. Recommended.(Reviewed by Handyman)

Above and beyond!
The detail and cost of this camera are amazing! I can't believe you can get this product at this price. I use it mainly for engine work but it has been used for wire fishing in walls too. You can easily see blockage in the wall with this and the led is super bright. If you are considering buying one, this is the one you should buy. You won't be disappointed!
