Tracks well and fine kerf
Comfortable handle, I’m a 5’6” woman with medium glove size. Actually got a great finish on a crosscut of decking cedar board, and it rips square. I generally use Japanese saws, but I got this one for rougher dimensioning. The relatively fine kerf is a real plus for staying on your lines, and I found that it handled very well, much more easily and efficiently than other saws at this great price point. I was concerned when I first gripped the handle, seemed too roomy to guide the saw for me, but I was wrong, it’s very well designed and balanced. Packaged well by the manufacturer, has a thin plastic guard for the teeth. The blade feels somewhat flexible, but tensioned, and doesn’t bind, even with the wettish wood from a big box store. It’s a keeper for me!!

Good saw - a little on the coarse side with regards to cut
So, first thing I noticed about this saw is the teeth are symmetric with regard to stroke direction - it cuts on forward and return equally. The teeth positions alternate on each side of the blade - this is just like most manual pruning blades. It does saw pretty quickly through wood, but it by no means a fine cut. If you don't care too much about the finish of the cut, or you plan to do a lot of surface work, then maybe that is ok. I do a lot of work where I am just putting together a quick project, not a fine dining room table or rocker, so this would be for those times. Unless you are careful, it will rip out some of the surrounding edges when crosscutting.Overall, the quality of the saw itself is good and saw (no pun intended) no issues.
