It didn't work for me
I had a watch buckle that I needed to darken. I couldn't use heat because it had a tempered spring in it .First I cleaned it with acetone and rinsed it in water. Then I dried it and soaked it in the stuff, which is basically strong muriatic or hydrochloric acid. Acid.Finally, I soaked it in Jax Blackener. The results are very uneven, especially since the stuff is expensive and the shipping costs are quite high.
