STURDY AND LONGLASTING
As I have said in previous reviews of other products, longevity is one of the most important aspects. The fact that these have lasted me 6 months (whereas my previous MULTIPLE pairs from another company lasted me 2 months per pair) is a statement. I love the comfort and the feel, and the fact that I don't constantly have to spend money on new ones. 10/10, would purchase and recommend. I wear these at work at lot, at a restaurant where I walk for 6-8 hours per shift, so these help stabilize the pain in my ankles.

The Company is truly Amazing and stands behind their products.
Updated review 10/9/2024: I have since been reached out by the wonderful customer service who went above and beyond to send me out a product that fits and that I would use. They were quick to overnight a replacement item Knee pad that was the right size for me, and I feel like for this reason alone how they stand by their products, and want you to be healthy and happy really means a lot in this day and age. I have changed my stars to 5 for this reason. They didn't have to reach out, and I didn't have to update my review but I owe it to you to tell you all about my experiences here, and by far this was the best customer service received and I am happy with the outcome...old review:I want to start off saying, I love this Rakiie products as I have a elbow brace that works PERFECT and thought i would give Just enough bend and material is made so well, I thought I'd give it a go at the ankle brace. The problem for me, is that the ankle brace pair doesn't have a special weave or mold to the foot, they just took the elbow brace and packaged it as a foot brace. This doesn't really work although the smart strap wrap around works perfect and keep the foot isolated while walking or even wearing shoes, so i will say it is thin enough to fit in shoes, but The design of it being an elbow brace on the foot leaves quite a bit of built up material in the back, as it doesn't have the proper bend a foot needs (think sock) It is not for me, as a foot brace I felt this didn't work out as well, but they do have wonderful products just not this one personally. This one is a miss but gets 3 stars because material is good, and its good for elbow or knee for small person.Rakiie Ankle Compression Sleeve for Heel Spurs Pain Relief Foot Swelling Fatigue Sprain, Breathable Arch Support Brace for Gym, Sports Protection, Anti Fatigue, Daytime or Night Use, Grey XL (Grey, X-Large)Rakiie Ankle Compression Sleeve for Heel Spurs Pain Relief Foot Swelling Fatigue Sprain, Breathable Arch Support Brace for Gym,… 8/28/2024

Supportive
This is a tight compression sleeve sock that has an additional very strong Velcro wrap with a picture of how to properly wrap it around your foot. Once on, it doesn’t feel like a compression sock, but more like a hard cast so it’s very supportive for a rolled or twisted ankle. Size is accurate for a tight fit, but size up one for a supportive, but still room to breath kind of fit.

Brace
I ordered these for my mom seems like it took longer than they should have when you have prime. I ordered a medium because that was what I saw on the size description and she still can barely even get it on her foot so I'm not sure if it just runs small I almost wanted to just send them back but she said that she would just go ahead and keep them my mom fell has a severely sprained foot and then the other one she broke so she needed these I just wish they would have fit her

Thick, Elasticity, and breathable
I incurred a dislocating fracture on my ankle a few years ago playing basketball. Ever since I have always had to use some form of sleeve on my ankle for support.I didn’t read the description too well and was shocked but very happy to know there were two sleeves in the packet !! For $9.99?! That’s a bargain. I’ve gotten sleeves at Walmart, Dicks, and Target usually starting with a price of $15 and up. The cheapest one Dicks sells is a sleeve for $7 but you can’t tighten it. Usually have to pay more for that option $15 and up and the Copper brand isn’t cheap. Therefore, one sleeve I can stink up for my workouts and the other for casual wear as needed. Now, I saw some people complaining about the wrap portion being separate and that being a bummer for them. Personally I could care less. I alway take care of my medical gear and keep track of it. Plus it will help with the tear and wear.Build quality is nice and thick. And has a nice spandex fit for comfort. I will say I have always gotten large but messed up and got X-Large. Don’t know what I was thinking. Regardless the overlaying Velcro strapped did the job to provide a good fit for the sleeve for my oversight. The Velcro is very well made and has good elasticity for a proper fit based on the shoes and making it provide you true support.I did a run with this bad boy. No complaints, chafing, itching etc. I will say wear thin socks the material is thicker than your usual sleeves which I don’t think it’s neceo a bad thing because it’s well made and will probably last longer. I felt my foot getting warm but that’s because I was wearing thick ankle socks with it on my run.Overall worked well and provided the comfort and most importantly support I needed to avoid any unnecessary pain during my run.

I could have choose better, these do not secure the ankle where it's needed.

Nice pair of ankle braces, good value
This review is for the pair of Ankle Braces by RakiieI recently suffered a high ankle sprain and have been suffering joint discomfort for a couple of months. There are times where I feel the ankle has no support and I am almost to the point of being afraid to put weight on it while doing regular activities such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, etc.The Rakiie ankle brace comes in two parts - a compression half-sock that fits slightly on the small side, but provides decent compression just by itself, and a strap that connects via hook-n-loop fasteners. This strap wraps around the front and back of the ankle and provides good support and does actually relieve pressure and pain on most days for me. While physio still is very much necessary for recovery of my particular injury, the physiotherapist when asked said that the brace is a decent idea for a few weeks to promote confidence in walking, standing, and other movement of the ankle and that I should be able to graduate away from the brace after a few months of working with her and self-therapy at home. For the price of $17Cdn at time of review this is a good value for two braces. Very pleased.

Light compression with optional straps
This RAKIIE Ankle Brace for Sprained Ankle 1 Pair, High Elasticity Ankle Support for Women & Men are well made good quality supports.Upon unboxing you are presented with 2 x ankle braces, 2 x support straps and an instruction card. These ankle supports provide good low to medium compression support for your ankle. These are not high compression supports but the support they provide should be adequate for many people. In case the support they provide is not quite adequate for your needs there are separate support straps included to increase the support and stability they provide. The fact that the support straps are included and are not attached to the braces is a real positive for me. By not attaching them it allows you to decide whether or not you need that additional support. If they are attached then you have to fasten them even if you don't feel you need that extra support. These braces are really a 2 in 1 product. There is an instruction card included as well to show you the proper way to wrap the strap around the brace.I ordered sizing according to the sizing chart shown in the listing and it was spot on. I have washed the product a couple of times according to their instructions (wash in cold water using a mild soap and air dry) and have had no issues with the product shrinking or stretching.Overall, this is a good quality brace that is extremely well made and gives you low to medium compression on its own. The included separate support straps allows you the option to increase the level of support and stability if required. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Priced at $16.99 at the time of this review.

work great
got these because i have back/foot/hip problems, and work on my feet, so thought these would help, and give me the added support i need. these answered my expectations.this comes with a pair of compression socks, each of which has also has a strap to go around your ankle for additional support. the only note/comment i have, which is stated somewhere in the directions: be careful when storing the straps, or when putting them on, that you dont put the velcro from the strap onto the sock itself, as it is not meant to be pulled, and the material of the sock is stretched/probably fray if pulled too hard.to put these on, you simply put the sock on, lining up the heel slot with your foot. then you put the strap under your foot, cross the strap across your ankle, tighten as much as required, then do it up using the velcro on one end, then repeat with second foot (if using).at the current price of $17 i would say these are a great buy and will definitely recommend.

Works but maybe size up?
Size medium is a bit small for a womens size 8 shoe. The sock fits fine with a little compression but the support comes from the elastic strap. It only has velcro at the very ends so there is little to no adjusting the tightness. The velcro should be longer so you can adjust to your needs and not cut circulation to your toes.$17, November 2024
