Just what I needed
Works great. End is not sharp so you can use it to tuck a bit of cotton sovered with antibiotic ointment under the end of the errant nail.

Good tool
As a nurse who specializes in foot care I use a lot of tools like this. There is nothing really wrong with this tool and it is actually a little better quality than many. The steel and polish seem excellent and it does it's job well. The handle is round however and I think that the hex handled tools that sell for less than half this one are easier to hold. I found them both here on Amazon.

Much better than using an old pair of tweezer.
These are forgiving to soft nails because of the gentle curve and smooth finish.Highly recommend to prevent the start of any ingrown toenail or just to clean under the nail without damage to the nail.

A little too blunt and thick to fit easily under really arching toenails unless you soak them. Better nail tools available with graduated thickness.
