Great Product!
I purchased this after talking to one of the techs at SCCY Industries. He installed one on his CPX-2. It fit beautifully and the beam was highly visible even outside. By the way, Amazon's price was far less than I found it elsewhere. It took me about 15 minutes to install it. I took my time and looked over the instructions several times. As this is my personal security weapon, I wanted to make sure everything was done right. (Could have taken it to SCCY and had them install it too.)Fit and finish: The sight clamps solidly over the trigger guard. I have no complaints about the plastic housing or quality of the workmanship. It is a little ornery clipping it on to the trigger guard initially, but I believe it's necessary to insure the sight is solidly mounted. Because I have a CPX-1, the underside of the frame is shaped slightly different from the CPX-2. ArmaLaser includes two small spacers fill in the gap. These are a bit of a pain to seat properly, but do the job.I sighted the laser with the iron sights on my gun. At 25 feet, the recommended distance, the laser is factory adjusted to be about an inch below the iron sights. I'm planning on leaving it there, at least for now.The one complaint I have heard concerns the "on" switch, there are two. There is an on/off switch recessed on the side, and a contact plate under the guard. Both switches have to be "on" for the laser to activate. When you grip your weapon, the side of your middle finger rests up against the contact plate and your finger completes the circuit across the contact plate. I don't have any trouble activating the laser when I hold the gun. However, if your hands are extra dry or you are wearing a glove or have some other non-conductive material between your finger and the plate, your finger can't complete the circuit. The kit comes with the necessary parts and tools to install and adjust the sight. I am quite satisfied at this point. Oh, one thing the laser sight did show me was that as I squeeze the trigger, when the hammer releases to fire, the aim jumps slightly (inch or so) to the right (right handed). I'll have to work on that!

Worthy Must Have for any Pistol
This is fairly simple to install following the instructions. It is a nice bright laser sight. For the money, this is a must have for the SCCY CPX pistol. There is negligable delay for the laser to activate but it activates faster than I can draw and form a sight picture. If you don't know, a laser pointer sight changes everything in low light, you point and focus on your target instead of the front sight. In daylight the use of iron sights is fine, preferable even, as a laser spot is usually hard to see. In the dark of night however, when most attacks occur, a laser sight such as this is an advantage only the foolish would shun. The laser required a small windage and elevation adjustmant to be dead on at 25 feet and so far after several hundred rounds it has held point of aim true. The only CON or dislike I have is the small activation time. As I stated earlier though, it activates quicker than I can obtain a clear sight picture and is sometimes hard to see in bright daylight. This being hard to see in daylight is common and expected with laser sights. Since I use my firearms at NIGHT the laser is a must have imho. You keep your normal sights and gain a serious advantage over the non-laser equiped in low light.

SCCY CPX2 NICE ADDITION
Armalaser TR 10 is a really nice addition. I wanted a green light but felt 150 bucks was too much. This red light is very nice and with a barrel sight was easy to align sight in. The unit looks very clean on my wife's SCCY. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a laser sight for your SCCY.

works very good.
I bought this for my wife's pistol. She is loosing her sight and has a lot of trouble finding the front sight. This laser helps her a lot. It turns on automatically when you grab the pistol in a ready grip and can be turned off for storage. It is much cheaper than the others and fits perfectly on her SCCY CPX2. Good purchase.

Works as Expected
The ArmaLaser TR-10 arrived one day later than expected and works as expected. It was easy to install and to adjust. It fits well on my SCCY CPX-2 and my gun still fits both of my holsters with the laser sight installed. The laser beam turns on easily, and naturally, when gripping the gun. Since, the switch relies on skin contact, it won't work with gloves on. There is an additional, main power, switch, which is conveniently located on the bottom of the laser assembly. I haven't used the sight on the range, yet, so I don't know how well it will retain its adjustment with the shock of rounds being fired. Overall, it seems to be a good, sturdy, design, if you don't abuse your weapons.
