I haven't heard about EBL until I ordered these, and realized they have almost 5000 5-star amazon reviews!These AAA batteries come flush in a paper box, and they're sealed in nine sets of four. This helps prevent all the batteries from coming out or making a mess when taking them out of the box.As for the quality of the batteries, I've used two to replace a set of AAAs in my food scale, and you can tell immediately that they are at full capacity. The liquid crystal display more than 2x'd in brightness, so these are not the typical quality you find in generic batteries, these are the good stuff!As to them marketing a 10-year shelf life, we'll just have to see about that!

These are typical no-name Chinese alkaline batteries. The company professes a 10-year shelf life, but there's no production date imprinted on the nondescript box. And I'm taking that and the “ultra long-lasting” claim with a huge grain of salt.I've yet to find Chinese batteries like this that perform as well as Energizer or Duracell; in fact, it's not even close. I'm guessing that these are on par with middling made-in-China Amazon Basics, which are not very good and are more expensive. At 28 cents each, these will be a bargain if they match the Basics performance.But I'm not going to use them in anything critical or expensive: leakage is a definite concern.My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Having for many years used and liked the EBL brand of batteries of virtually every size, from D, C, AA, AAA, and 9V in most all compositions, including alkaline, NiMH, and Li-Ion of the both the rechargeable and non-rechargeable types, we have found the EBL brand to be a good, trustworthy product that consistently meets or exceeds their advertised specifications, and these batteries appear to be no exception to that.All in all, the above notwithstanding, with regard to these particular EBL AAA alkaline batteries, we can state with certainty that they all measure to their full voltage, but we will, obviously, need to report later as to their advertised 10-year shelf life.

I can't say there is anything special about these. They do advertise a long shelf life, but then so do many of the other brands. The price is about the same as other off-brands, including "basics". It's difficult to say if they will last as long as others since there are so many variables. If they don't leak like the name brand has done so many times I will be happy. I can't tell you how many flashlights I have lost because the name brand batteries have leaked. I had been buying "AAA" batteries in 100 packs since so many devices use them. Getting the same price here for the 30 pack will insure that my stock stays fresh.

Great batteries. Sizing is accurate for AAA size. They last just as long in my remotes as big name brands. Great value. Time will tell whether storage life is good but based on past experience with EBL batteries, I expect them to stand the test of time as well.

This is a large pack of AAA alkaline batteries. These are great for low demand devices like remotes, etc. The shelf life is supposedly 10 years, but that might be a bit of an exaggeration. These are the correct voltage, and they seem like they have his capacity. If anything goes wrong, I'll update this review.

These batteries are good quality, well made, work well in my devices, and have a reasonably long life with no issues. The set came with 36 batteries which was a very good value for the cost.
