Resident Evil 5 (PS3)

Decided to get this game again having had it disapear over the years as my girlfriend wanted a videogame we could play together which had a good storyline. Not many games have a multiplayer campaign mode so this instantly sprung to mind.The graphics were nicely ahead of their time when the game was first released but in 2016 they do look a little outdated, the controls are also quite bad and remind me of the "Obscure, The Aftermath" PSP game controls which just felt so off. After a while you do get used to the controls but they do feel very 'blocky' and unresponsive.Playing in multiplayer does mean having a very weird screen set up, you are stuck with A LOT of black space around the 2 rectangular boxes showing for each player. They are also not verticle to each other, instead one is towards the top right and the other to the bottom left. Like the controls, you will get used to this, but if you're like my girlfriend who's the kind who is incredibly picky i.e not movies with subtitles or screens that dont fit the TV properly, then you'll be quickly put off.I ended up playing a fraction of the campaign with my brother but she grew sick of the graphics, controls and screen ratio and took off (from the game) so I continued with my brother who thoroughly enjoyed the whole game with me.The storyline is great and much better than the newer games so i'd highly reccomend this game!

This game is really easy to complete and has quite a good story.The game is set in Africa and yoou play as...Chris redfield!You are joined by a new character called...Sheva Alomar.Chris is no longer in S.T.A.R.S. he is now in a new Anti-terrorist team known as B.S.A.A.Chris is now fighting against the same kind of enemies as Leon.Chris finds himself in a dark mystery about his past.The co-op add on was very fun to do becuase of the hard puzzles to do with a partner you would have to be a reallly good team player to do co-op.The infinite ammo made me play it longer and the different costumes.You get points after completing stages and mercenaries to buy little figures (NOT REAL MONEY) plus the versus and other modes teach you about Chris's past and somthing else (CANT TELL YOU BECUASE ITS A SPOILER LOL)This game is kind of a copy of resident evil 4 still WHY NO ZOMBIES!!!!!!!If your a big fan of resident evil buy this its a really good and new experience for people who crave zombie 2 player.

Resident Evil 4 is widely regarded as one of the best PS2 games of all time. Unfortunately, this sequel does not live up to it, it is worth playing through once but after that it becomes increasingly tiresome. It can be amusing to play with a friend (once you have managed to navigate the incredibly clumsy menus to allow a 2 player game). Also, no-one plays this online anymore except for a few die-hard RE fans who have unlimited ammo on all their weapons and it seriously isn't fun playing with them.

Terrible game boring and over scripted with none of the creepiness of earlier games in the franchise. Avoid.

The product send to me was a special edition red case and not the normal packaging. Which I did not see specified, also it was a USA copy and the UK DLC i purchased would not work with the American BLES code.

I Bought this game because of split screen co-op gameplay. If you like this kind of games, then you must get it. I just love how you need to share stuff, and help each other. Gameplay itself are good, there is a lot of zombies, a lot of stuff to do.
