I am very happy with this purchase. My family has loved the Hawaiian shaved ice made from the ice. The water reminds me of grandpa and his cold jar of water in the refrigerator. I love it so much I had a friend get one as well. It’s very easy to use and noise is not loud at all

Tastes like drinking from the hose. Run several cycles through to get rid of that taste. After that, it's good.The worst part is it's kinda noisy when the ice goes in the trey, but that's a function of ice machines.

It does not put out very much ice and if you don’t use the ice fast then it melts fast

Do not know what "sheerness" is but ice is cloudy, not clear. Don't know why but they work.Did not like the results at first as the first drop of ice lumps were almost melted by the time the next drop happened and they were very small. However, the subsequent batches were full size and apparently the temperature in the chamber cools off. We dump into a bag and put in the freezer every couple of drops. Not sure if a full basket would be too melted if waiting for more ice lumps (not cubes, more like gumdrops with a hole in the middle) to fill the basket. A little time consuming but better than dealing with ice cube trays in too small a freezer.Probably as good as it can get for the price.

An absolute must if you don't have an icemaker. Its extremely quick and surprisingly quiet! With youngsters living at home it's used very frequently. So glad I bought this.

Product arrived with the coolant having leaked out all over product.So while i can say the product looked great and components all worked great it just didn't freeze ice or chill any water.I gave it 3 stars because the product was of good quality it just didn't work to freeze... And now your wondering why 3 stars for a product that doesn't do what it should.Because I feel that the leak occurred during shipping so it's not fair to say the unit itself isn't any good. The company did reimburse me after several emails so there wasn't an issue with the company. If they had a store near me I wouldn't hesitate to go in and buy another unit but I'm not sure about playing roulette with the delivery again.So I feel it's fair to review the functionality of the unit based on the fact that all the components (less the cooling unit which contained no coolant so therefore did not work) worked as they should and the unit itself was of good quality and design.

This is a good sized ice maker and pushes out ice quickly. After less than a year it no longer turns on. While it's a nice looking ice maker, I don't love it as a flower pot, so I need to find a new one.
