This Video Baby Monitor is very nice. No internet needed for this system, just plug and go, that simple. The Camera sits wonderfully on a dresser or table, can also be mounted to wall or on a camera arm. Decent size, but not real big. Moves around, giving you scanning ability of the room. The Parent Monitor is a great size, about the size of a cell phone. The picture is very crisp and clear. Has color and black and white for night time. Has lots of different options for viewing and setting alarms. Also, it has a little kick stand, I call it, on the back so you can sit it on a table or whatever. Works wonderfully and has a good range on it. I have mine on the second floor of my house and I go outside into the back yard a very very good distance away and still works great. I use it when my Disabled Son is sleeping or when he's awake and I can keep an eye on him for seizures and such. There is also 2-way communication on this, I can talk to him from the parent monitor and ask questions if need be.This is a Very Good System. Works Wonderfully and I don't have to worry about internet and prying eyes. Safe and secure.Price is Excellent for this. Highly Highly Recommend it. Would make a great baby or shower gift. I use mine every day, almost 18 hours a day, no problems.

This video baby monitor gives you peace of mind. Once you adjust to the expected room and outdoor sounds, this video monitor gives you great peace of mind. I can't speak to the 2000-foot-apart connectivity, but the connectivity is good 30 feet from the baby's room. We really only use it at night time and during naptime when working, but it holds a charge well.

An elderly family member got out of the house a couple of times. One of those times he was on his way down the street to an important meeting (or so he thought) before a neighbor saw him and gave him a ride back home. He had even dressed in a suit for the meeting!It was at this time that we realized that he needed to be watched closer. He had just started going downhill mentally and before this would often take walks in the neighborhood.This time his wife was gone and he thought she had left him home and gone to the meeting without him.At a family meeting it was suggested we get aa baby monitor that would alert her when he gets up or moves around.I volunteered to get something.One of the features that was important for her is the two way audio. She wanted to be able to talk to him and help if he gets confused. She can just remind him where she is and to stay home.The motion detector is another important feature for her. She needs to know well before he leaves the house that he's planning to leave. The door cam only tells her when he's leaving and then it's too late.With this she gets alerted when he wakes up from his nap and starts moving around.We're feeling more secure now having a plan in place.

This is a great camera but nowhere near 2000ft range in the real world. I'm actually using it for a security camera to monitor who comes down my driveway and I have it mounted right outside my bedroom in a sheltered location. I get that it's meant to be an indoor monitor, but not many people have 2000 feet of indoor space so I assume they knew either the cam or the monitor would be outside sometimes. I have the monitor about 75 feet away from the camera and there's an exterior wall (wood frame, stucco siding), and two standard drywall interior walls in between the cam and the monitor. If I don't have the monitor adjusted exactly it cuts in and out due to lost signal, but as long as its adjusted it stays connected consistently. Exaggerated range is pretty standard for these type devices so I mention all this just so people are aware, not as a major criticism. Otherwise, the camera has been great and serves my needs perfectly. I really like not having to use my network wifi to have it connected since there's way too many devices on my network anyways and this way I avoid any lag issues. Overall it's just been a really good setup and I really recommend it.

I ordered this baby monitor not to monitor a baby but to watch the drama occuring in my outdoor greenhouse where I house my large cages of pet birds. Seems as though nightly they are being bothered by something as I can hear them fluttering in their cages from my window. I just had to see what was going on without having to actually be out there. Plus I do not have a power source out there. This monitor runs on USB cord for the camera part. The monitor runs on a charge and does not have to be plugged in all the time. I used a power bank for the camera outside, which lasts all night and into the next morning with constant viewing. Let me say that that the picture on the screen of this monitor is exceptional. Even the night view is remarkable! The ability to pan the entire area is just amazing. This setup is worth so much more than the asking price. I would pay much more for this. The controls are simple and the instructions quite good. Setup is so simple anyone can do this. The monitor has so much information you can use plus many choices for customizing this camera. Very clear picture always and long battery life for the monitor. The camera does not take up much power either. When I retrieve my power bank in the morning, it is still at 54% charge. That is after 18 hours of constant use. I love this monitor. It is my new TV! By the way, it was mice and a possum bothering my birds. They were hunting for food.

The fact that this is wireless can be very helpful in some areas where signals are weak or non-existent. Device even monitors low temperatures which can be an added safety measure in winter time. It will trigger an alarm if the baby room suddenly gets cold. Clear picture quality and a good sensor. A wonderful baby shower gift idea and it can be linked with up to 4 cameras. No problems with set up. Also crisp clarity with the night vision picture. Great dependability that can get through thick walls in the house. I love the lullaby choices. Very easy to operate. The usb power cord and all that is needed to install is included. Can be of assistance with an at home care dementia family member too.
