This gaming controller is very good. NOTE: I did not test it on an Xbox or PlayStation of any type, but did try it on several PC systems.PROS:1, It feels like an Xbox 360 controller2, Performs like an Xbox 360 controller3, It is a bit lighter than a MS Xbox 360 controller (It is great for younger kids and older adults)4, Worked on Unix/Linux/Ubuntu 20+ 32/64bit5, 64 bit OS or 32 bit OS did not matter (worked with either, but see CONS:)6, Worked great with MS W10 and W11 OS'sCONS:1, Uses a generic Xbox receiver (not MS type)2, Will not interface with a MS receiver, You have to use the receiver that comes with it.3, Does not work on Windows 7 (32/64bit) or older without serious headaches getting a driver to work with the receiver (you will have to force load a driver and hope it works)4, I could not get it to work on Linux/Unix/Ubuntu 16 /18 (32bit)I tried this on a dedicated PC Arcade system. Arcade Machine Emulator type system running various OS's in Virtual Machine's. I do have an Xbox 360 controller and receiver and wanted another wireless controller.

Excellent controller for XBox

These controllers worked with my existing xb360 receiver for Windows, which is what I wanted, instead of having to use an individual proprietary receiver per unit. I was able to pair 3 controllers, and have the player 1-4 lights light up accordingly, in the order they were paired. Perfect.The only problem is, one of the controller's battery compartment was not molded correctly, and would not latch the battery pack. The player # light also wouldn't stay lit on this one, and instead kept rotating, even though it was working. Ordered a replacement.Also, the edges are a little sharp at the corners since they don't line up perfectly, but still perfectly useable and comfortable.

I dont like that you need a wireless adapter but it could be cause its newer its not bad for a replacement i got it in 2 days!

I gambled that this third party, $18 controller might be sufficient because the Xbox 360 is an old machine. I was wrong. While the controller did work mechanically at first, it frequently disconnects. The supposed 30 ft range is simply wrong - mine disconnects when it is more than 5 ft away. The more I've used the controller, the more it has begun to mechanically break down - considering I've only used it for about 6 hours, this is disheartening - on top of frequently disconnecting. It has begun to stick and randomly spins my character around. In sum, I am dissatisfied with this product.

It's great for its intended purpose. The buttons are a little "sticky", for lack of a better word, but it works really well and was the least expensive one I personally found online.

You think it doesn't work and you fight with it then you realize it looses connection with the wireless pod.

As good as original one but not exactly same. Few features missing compare to original.
