Heavy Duty is An Understatement
I've installed a lot of laminate, interlocking vinyl and hardwood flooring over the decades and have always gotten by with a basic set of installation tools from one of the big box hardware stores. Something would inevitably break, so I'd buy a replacement. With that said, I was truly surprised at the sturdiness of this set from NAACOO.The whole set weighs about 11 pounds, with the majority of that being the large, solid pull bar. With a large tapping block (welded onto the bar), it provides an easy target for the hammer. One end is angled for use as a prybar (to get between the end of the board and the wall to pop it into place) and the other has the downward lip that grabs the end of the piece of flooring that you're tapping into place. That lip is tall enough to use with thick laminate flooring...and almost too tall to use with thinner vinyl plank flooring. The hammer has both medium and high density rubber heads to control the amount of impact, depending on what you're installing. The contour gauges is sturdy, but made entirely of plastic, so keep it somewhere safe when not in use so you don't step on it and break it. It does work well and will hold its contour with the lock bar activated. The heavy wooden tapping block is a nice feature. In the past, I've always cut a small section of interlocking flooring which I place against the piece being installed, and tap that scrap piece into the actual piece with a mallet (so as to not damage the edge of the full piece). This tapping block replaces the need to do that...you simply rotate the block into the piece being installed with moderate force and it locks it in place without damaging the edge of the board, as it distributes the force across a larger area. The spacers are well-designed and will provide either 1/4" or 1/2" of space between the end/edge of a board and the wall. By putting a few spacers along your start row, it will help ensure that the installed flooring is square to the room and doesn't start to veer off at an angle. In summary, I would consider this to be professional quality. I used it to install 400sqft of interlocking vinyl plank in our basement and it made the job go much smoother and quicker than I anticipated. The components are a bit heavy, so just know that you'll have to determine how much force is needed for any given activity so that you don't damage the floor or injure yourself. This will be a great investment if you are a DIYer.

Pro/Career Tradesman tier kit right here
I'm a tile guy, so vinyl floors aren't my profession but I can appreciate good tools when I find them.I've been doing some of my own floors with the newer click vinyl tiles and have been using the standard install kit you'd find at the major big box stores here in the US. After misplacing my tap bar thing, not sure what it's called, and wishing I had a contour gauge I ordered this. The locking contour gauge was what I was most interested in.When the shockingly heavy box arrived I knew I was in for a treat. The black bar tool I swear I could tow a car with. With the felt lining on it and the sheer weight of the tapping block, I was absolutely flying through the project. So many small moments I had before of tapping and retapping to get things just right are just gone. Shaved off the project. I'm not even exaggerating a bit when I say this kit cutting 30-40% off the install time vs what I was using before. It feels like cheating, somehow. The locking contour gauge is an absolute lifesaver. The spacers sit perfectly with a controlled depth... never going back to the crappy black angle spacers - the ones shaped like a door stop. The mallet feels great in the hand. Honestly EVERYTHING in this kit feels great in the hand. This is the kind of quality I would expect a career installer pick up at twice the listed price and use for years until they inevitably get stolen on a job site.6 stars if I could. I cannot think of a single flaw, this kit punches way above it's weight class.

Worked for me
Like the pull bar, tapping block and the spacers. The hammer was too light to use with the pull bar in my opinion.

Nice Kit with Nearly Everything Needed for a Good Install
I actually got this kit for our son who is installing a few thousand square feet of laminate flooring in his home. We received this and went to work. He was using the parts of the kit to measure and install the flooring while I kept the pieces oriented and cut to size. We put a lot of miles on the tools already with about 2/3 of the job done. The tools are good quality and every part of it has been used over and over during the installation. I figured it would be worn out and discarded by the end of the project but it is holding up just fine and will live to do more it seems. We're very happy with the way everything works and quality is evident. I can't think of anything I'd change or add.If you are planning to do a flooring job, it's worth it to have the correct tools on hand. Particularly for awkward cuts, where the profile jig is used, or against the wall where you need the hammer and hook tool. Get this kit and your job will be much more professional and enjoyable.Great seller, awesome tools, and very fast shipping. Order with confidence!

Convenient
Use this kit to replace some of the laminate planks in my kitchen after some water damage. It made the job easier to do, and very convenient to have all the tools together.
