Familiar yet Intimate
Hot Pink Moon: A Crown of Haibun is a captivating poetry collection by Katie Dozier and Timothy Green. Across 30 days, the poets alternate daily reflections, with each new entry carrying a thread from the previous day's piece, creating a delicate tapestry of interconnected moments. The poems capture the familiar details of life with a personal touch, offering a contemplative and refreshingly sincere experience.

Unfolding of a Poetic Love Story Spins Our Hearts
The poems in this first collection of Tim Green and Katie Dozier intertwine full cycle from the first to the last, with the freshness of their love story. Like their new All-In-One washer dryer, the reader is caught up in each cycle of poems from the beginning to the end. The beautiful prose poems that are spun from the words of the endings of the haibun’s haiku of the one before create a trail of unexpected delights as we move from scene to scene until we reach the end. It is “easy to fly” through this collection as these haibuns “are such colorful things.” But like the endless stream of laundry, I will go back and revisit these poems often. Can’t wait to read their next collection as their poetry shines just like their love, which anyone who participates in Rattlecast or listens to The Poetry Space can’t help but feel and share in their joy of finding each other.

Fully loaded washing machine
Loved how these poems bled into each other like a red sock thrown in the whites - how they ranged from delicates to wool outerwear and how there’s something in this basket of poetry for everyone. The situations and emotions and phrasing spun round my head long after it buzzed ‘done’. To be set on repeat, for sure.

It Deserves the Stars
Such a beauty of a book. Small and full of energy. A wonderful crown of haibun! I think even non-poetry lovers could love this. It's so alive, you feel the love they have for each other, for poetry, for life. It's not just poetry lite though. There's much to consider and revisit.

Outstanding work in modern haibun
Katie and Tim show how boundaries can be broken or pushed in a work of creativity and how collaboration can augment the values of artistic creations. Each of them complements the other while taking a cue from the other's poem and not merely linking in the same realm but rather expanding it without inhibition. Strongly recommended for novices as well as adept writers.
