This monster truck is lots of fun to send zipping all over the place. It's responsive, lights-up, and easy to operate. I like that it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries so when one runs down the fun can continue by putting the back-up battery in. I don't like it that the description does not tell you that you will need 3AAA batteries. It does come with a needed screw driver for the 2 compartments for the batteries. The instructions are OK.I'm a little worried about the truck's body - it's very flimsy - time will tell how it holds up. This is going to provide hours of fun as a birthday gift.

This is not a particularly strong vehicle. It gets stuck in the grass in our back yard. It can push some wooden blocks around on the sidewalk. On smooth flat surfaces, it moves well enough and is responsive to the controls.The battery packs are not very large. That is probably part of why this car is not that powerful. They are easy to charge with the included adapter and just as easy to swap out.The on off switch is located directly underneath the chassis. With the wheels not being that large, the switch is not that far off the ground. And with the direction of the switch being in line with the direction of travel, the car actually turned it's switch off trying to go over an obstacle.The lighting option is actually pretty cool. This is the only rc car we have with lights. The button on the control for the lights works as well as expected.Overall, it's an affordable small rc truck that is not any where as powerful as some of the other off the shelf options. But only real issue is the location of the power switch.

The media could not be loaded. Does not like to climb at all. Does not go through grass well, flat gravel it does decent in. Just has no power. And this was on a freshly charged battery. Definitely needs to be powered up. 3.5 of 5.

This RC car is super cool. My 5 year old daughter loves it very much. Capable little truck with good battery life. It runs good on many surfaces, we were driving inside, outside, on hard wood, carpet, cement, and blacktop without any problems. It is super helpful that it comes with 2 batteries so that you can charge one while playing with the car.Pretty durable as my kids have bounced it off of walls, off stairs and still going.
