The key worked great for what I needed, but be warned that it does not look like the photos. These keys are actually a bright, cheap-looking brass rather than the darker, more vintage looking one photographed.

I'm hard pressed to think of anything meaningful to say about this product.As advertised, they are skeleton keys. As is always the case with Amazon Prime, they arrivedon the date promised.Do they work? They don't open any of the 1880 era locks in my house, but that's not the fault of the keys.Am I sorry I bought them? No, I'm not. They are 3 inches long and are so shiny that they look more likegold plate than brass. I keep them hanging on a nail on my kitchen mantle and for some reason they justlook right. I have a feeling that they are the first in my collection of skeleton keys that don't work.

Picture and description show a black key . These are shiny / cheap looking gold or brass.

It works but they arnt of high quality. After a few uses I had it bust in lock.

Boooo these didn't work! I got them when we lost our skeleton key and originally we thought it must've been a different shaped BUT months later the old one resurfaced and the shapes were the same, just seemed like this key was Cut a smidgen smaller than our original key and thus wouldn't open the doors so we could not lock them for months till we found the original.

I have a house with doors that have skeleton bolts on all of the doors, and I needed to get new keys as the originals broke due to age. I still have and use these replacements over a year after purchasing!Make sure your original keys look like the one pictured, there are other designs of keys, but if the picture is right, you should be fine.

Perfect fit for my interior doors. Next time escape will not be so easy
