The helmet is a great reproduction of the PTS MTEK Flux, for a fraction of the cost.Pros-The ABS/Nylon construction has a good heft, and feels comfortable to handle, feels like I'm holding and wearing something that is more premium quality for the price.-The helmet has great padding that helps conform to the head, the original helmet was designed to be a more natural fit overall for the end user, its very comfortable once the padding is setupCons-Like the PTS MTEK Flux, this helmet has a different shape compared to your typical FAST helmet for reasons of ergonomics, sizing may not work for you-Because of the different helmet shape, most FAST helmet covers WILL NOT fit with this helmet, you will need to look for a Spritus or Flux helmet cover--be prepared to spend a lot more to personalize unless you have the handiwork to make your own cover.-There are no instructions on how to apply the padding, I attached a picture to show how I setup the outer padding of the helmet, but you will need to search up pictures of the actual helmet to figure out the inner padding layout.Do I recommend this? Yes--for the price you are getting a reproduction of a replica helmet that is worth roughly 120 dollars, and is of excellent quality despite being a reproduction.

The helmet is wide enough for my noggin, the straps are barely long enough, but they work.I had a thin pad from a different helmet that I used on the interior, as others have mentioned the pads included are a mystery.I'm using this when I ride my Juggernaut as the NVG mount is dramatically more durable than the self-adhesive gopro helmet mounts and I don't ever want to go searching for a camera in the bush again.

Having trouble with the padding, it does not like to stay in the helmet. Straps are cheap, and replacements are not compatible with major brands like team Wendy. Great for airsoft, and games, but for serious work or shtf, not protective, uncomfortable to use. And not built for prolong use. It's light and looks cool, but is not comfy or protective.

alright. 1- good luck figuring out the pads. 2- my noggin is pretty average for an adult male. and the thing still doesn't fit snugly.(even with both sets of pads in place-ish) 3- with its abnormal sizing and rail placement, good luck getting ear pro to seal. even with adapters on my ear pro to work with this helmet. I still don't get a seal so I had to do some "modification" and even then its still. a loose fit and half seal.

If you have a large head then you might be able to make the pads work.If you have a large head then the straps wont work.Normal or medium size head it will be necessary to separately buy pads for this shell.I am not spending as much for pads as what a different complete helmet cost.Best of luck to you.

Extremely big for a helmet. Have to use a lot of padding just to feel tight.
