A Fantastic E-Reader – All-new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16 GB
I’m absolutely in love with the All-new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16 GB! This e-reader has exceeded my expectations in every way. The 6.8-inch display is bright and crisp, and the e-ink technology makes reading for hours feel just like reading a physical book. The adjustable warm light is a game-changer for late-night reading—it’s so much easier on the eyes. The 16 GB storage is more than enough for all my books, and it’s super quick to load pages, switch between titles, and browse through the Kindle store. I love how lightweight and compact it is, making it perfect for carrying around in my bag without adding any extra weight. The battery life is fantastic—I've gone for days without charging, even with regular use. The waterproof design is another great feature, giving me peace of mind when I read by the pool or at the beach.Easy to use, lightweight to hold. Functional for what it's used for and overall great quality.Overall, this Kindle has made my reading experience so much better, and I can’t imagine going back to any other e-reader. Highly recommend it! Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A must-have for bookworms!!!
I’m a literature student and read ALOT so even though the kindle paperwhite 2024 is expensive it was totally worth it for me, especially with 3 months of kindle unlimited. I upgraded my kindle paperwhite from 2018 (as the screen was faulty) and I’m absolutely obsessed. The kindle paperwhite 2024 is lightweight and fast. I love the 7 inch screen and the new warmth setting for the screen - definitely improved reading at night. I have also noticed the photo quality of the illustrations in the books and the book covers have improved (not completely necessary but really nice nonetheless). The touch screen is excellent and responds quickly. I think the quality is superb and definitely reflects the price point. I did buy my kindle with ads originally (the ads are only on the screen while the kindle is on sleep mode) but I paid to have them removed from my amazon account. Really happy with my purchase!!!

Love it! It's a great upgrade from my old Paperwhite.
I replaced my old Paperwhite in order to read in different light conditions & this fits the bill perfectly. Great for sunny days, as was my old Paperwhite, but I can also read it at night because of the back light. It's a good size/weight & fits in my handbag . Easy to use although I tend to buy books on my normal Kindle & then read them on my Paperwhite. The selection of books is brilliant & as a voracious reader I'm very happy.

Amazon Kindle
Got this and have never done any reading for years. I have read more since buying this and helps get to sleep at night. Can change brightness ect and easy to setup. Seems to be good deals on books on offer and can also load your own pdf files on but they don't look as good as the ones from store since size is sometimes not right on page format.Works with the audio books but I only tried one and prefer the reading ones. Much better than a tablet for the screen and longer battery life. Screen is great and less eye strain due to being different to TV or laptop.Quite expensive which is why I gave 4 star not 5 since many people will buy books from Amazon so they will have a revenue stream from the books that people buy. I did get on discount but still expensive imo

VERY USEFUL AND PORTABLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
I decided to buy this Kindle so that I could read more of the classic Victorian novels without having to accommodate heaps of books. The downloading of new purchases was very straightforward, even with the giant collection of Trollope novels, which was amazingly cheap. Very long battery life - some weeks on I'm still on the first charge.

A triumph of style over usability
This would have not deserved any stars, but I can't do that and I guess it gets 1-star for the actual display being OKI previously had a Kindle Touch from 2012, which worked well and reliably until it finally stopped responding to touch. If I could have bought a direct replacement, I would have done, but sadly Touch versions are no longer available. So what is wrong with the Paperwhite?Firstly, a totally unnecessary and useless usage of thumbnails of the book cover. These aren't big enough to be readable - and I do not recognise a book by its cover. They also waste screen space - the "From Your Library - Home" section of the main screen can only display 3 thumbnails without having to scroll. Neither the title nor the author is displayed in simple text. There does not appear to be any logic to the sequence in which books are added to "From Your library - Home". Apart from the book I am reading, the rest appear in seemingly random order. Yes, if I can remember a book's name I can search for it (which does pull up a text only list of boooks that match!), but often I just want to scroll through looking for what to read next. By comparison, my Touch had Device and Cloud tabs on the main screen. Cloud showed every book I had ever purchased, which I could re-donload by just touching the name. Device showed books I had purchased which were stored on the device - Name, author and an indication of length of the book with a sereis of dots on the next line - so if I wanted a quick read I could just scan easily. Once I had finished a book I could long-touch the title to get a list of actions, and choose Remove from Device". This still left the book in the Cloud where I could redownload to my device if I wanted. Contrast that with Paerwhite. If I have read a book, sure, it shows as Read, but if I try to remove it from Home the only option is to delete it peramnently from this device and all other devices - which means if I want read it again I have to re-purchase it! This means that "From your library is going to get more and more cluttered, and finding abook I purchased some time ago is very difficult. On the Paerwhite, the majority of the main screen is taken up by list of books such as "Top read in Prime Readin", "Books yu may like" - and even more if you scroll.I find Syncromisation very hit and miss. If I have been reading a book using the Kindle App on my Tablet, close the book and Synchronise, then go to the Paperwhite, force a Sync, the reopen the book, it frquently does not give me an option to the last place read. I can of course manually flick through pages until I find where I was up to. Sometimes then after I have been reading for several minutes, the Paperwhite gives me a pop-up telling me the last page read on my Tablet and do I want to that page. Frustrating. By contrast the Touch syns properly and easily. Finally, even going from page to page isn't always reliable - sometimes it skips several pages. The Paperwhite is so unusable that I have abandoned it and used ebay to purchase a second-hand Touch which I am now happily using
