I cant believe there have been no reviews on a book as beautiful as this one. Just backgounds, pretty much, it is a catalog of many different artists involved in Manga and Anime who have produced some of the most visually stunning scenery to larger works. For me, the purpose of this book is to inspire my own art work and stimulate creativity. Overall though, it will always be a beautiful book. Gentle skies and soft landscapes, cities and towns, both futuristic and ruins, but all wonderfully rendered. The book is in English and Japanese. The final chapter takes the reader through the process of creating the landscape depicted on the cover. So this is a must for many people, student to artist to those who just love to look through amazing books. This book will stay with me always.
