This is a very nice case for the Galaxy Note 2
I had another case I bought for $25, and it broke within a week. This case is a well made, sturdy case. It not only has a clip, but belt loops as well. Some people have complained about it falling off, but if you put it on something like a belt, it holds on just fine, just with the clip. If you were to just clip it over clothing, like a trouser waist band, then maybe it could fall off, so plan to require a belt because with belt loops, there is no risk of it falling off. Also, the front pouch door is magnetically latched: that means no velcro to wear out, and because it extends down the full face of the pouch, it's almost impossible for the phone to come out unless YOU take it out. The phone is easy to get out because it lays in the pouch horizontally. Some people complain that the case has too much thickness, but I found that if the case were thinner, it would be hard to get the Note 2 out. The case is EXACTLY the right length and width for the Note 2, and the pouch flap on mine closes with no trouble at all. Since it rides horizontally, it is a long case to put on your belt, but I thread the belt through the loops and under the clip, and it hugs the waist well enough that if you push it just slightly forward, it fits well. Any larger than this, though, and only a vertical case would have been practical. People who complain about this case make me wonder if the company has more than one version: I've seen two different insignias on the front flap in photos, and mine has none at all. That may help explain the differences in individual experiences. Based on my experience, I recommend this case; and best of all, delivery is swift.

Not exactly what I expected
The case is very well put together. I doubt very much that it is real leather, but only because of the price. It could fool you. It looks that good. This is not a slim fitting case. If that is what you are expecting, you will be disappointed. The case is somewhat rigid. That could be good our bad. The Note 2 is a very big phone. This case is huge. 2 Note 2s could fit in this thing at the same time. The opening is just that thick. If had your Note 2 in a very slim case, it would probably fit into this fine. I am guessing that the extra length added to your phone by having a case on it, would cause the sides to fold in some and make it fit tighter. Hope that makes since. The shipping on this device was almost exactly the same as the holster itself, adding up to a total price that is astronomically cheap. The belt loop, and hook system gives you a couple of options for belt carry. Through the loops, obviously the most secure choice. I can't for the life of me though, imagine actually carrying this thing on my belt. It is just that big. I can't justify a return though, because it was so cheap. The quality of the construction on mine is really good too.I think this case was made to be big enough, so that it could be sold for use on any huge phone. They probably didn't have a Note 2 in hand, when they designed it either. Just not a good enough fit, for that to have been the case.Overall, I am disappointed. For what it cost though, I don't regret ordering it. It was worth the relative little risk to try it out for myself. If it cost more, I would return it. It doesn't, so I wont.

Fits Galaxy Note 3
I was looking for a holster case for my Galaxy Note 3, but not a lot of options when I searched for a Note 3 case. The description showed that this case fits a Note 2 and since the Note 3 has the same length but slightly smaller width and thinner than the Note 2, I decided to give the case a try.On fit, the case is a little big if you're carrying the phone without a case. The length of the case matches the phone, but there's room to stretch a little if necessary, so it case easily accommodate a case. The width is fine with the Note 3. The Note 3 is thinner than the Note 2 and Note, but even if that was not the case, there's plenty of space. As others have commented, you can fit 2 phones in the case. I have my Note 3 in a S View case and it fits fine inside the holster. Still room, but the extra bulk of the S View case keeps it from moving around. This holster works fine if you have your phone wrapped in a case. From a thickness standpoint, any case will probably do, just be careful of the length. The case is 5.95" long and it will stretch probably 0.25" or so. As long as your case does not add too much length, you should be good. Avoid this holster if you're planning not to use a case around your phone, it wouldn't feel secure.

Acceptable case
I just received this case last night, and found it to be a functional case of moderate quality. Its construction is about what you'd expect for a bottom-price leather case; very thin, "textured" leather, plastic/papery liner, etc. The stitching looks good so far, but I'll be shocked if it doesn't start to fray within a few months (as my previous sub-$20 "holster" pouches always have).I do have some issue with other reviewers' description of the fit. I may have received another version of the case (I have a roughly one-inch long rectangular chrome "evecase" badge in the corner, where the photo shows a small black ornament), but where they said you could fit multiple Note 2s, and a case would be no problem, I find that it fits mine naked rather cozily, and it barely fits with a slim case at all. It takes a considerable amount of force to squeeze the cased phone into this holster, and even more to extract it. I'm currently attempting to stretch the side-strap leather by keeping the phone housed along with its case and some folded strips of paper to give it a touch extra length.I don't wear belts, so the belt loops get in the way a bit when trying to clip this to my waistband, and unlike my previous iPhone holster, this has a tendency to ride up while I'm seated. This might be a result of the much larger phone it's carrying rather than any design flaw.Overall, I think it's a fine holster-case for a Galaxy Note 2, as long as you don't intend to use a protective case on the phone itself.

and looks like it will hold up well
Not really made for a Nexus 4, a little to big, its actually for a Note 2. Also, unlike my old case, the clip does not hold it on my belt as secure. It is Very Well Made, and looks like it will hold up well.

ok, but made modifications to make it work.
Was concerned about the magnets. They were too powerful and I was worried that they would damage my phone, and so I cut them out, removed the magnets, glued the scars and then used Velcro on the inside, to secure the case closed. It works and I bought an OtterBox commuter series case for my Samsung Galaxy Note. It fits but the case is snug and it was not really designed for a phone with protective covering. You get what you pay for and I am happy with that! :)

Belt clip does not last
This pouch is not bad, but the leather ring and leather covering on belt clip break in a week. Look Good but does not last.
