My mother is in a choir and is the choir secretary. She has to type up the meeting minutes each month, so, she borrows this from me whenever she has a meeting. That way, she can use it with her notes to do her job.I also use this to get my dad to tell us stories of his childhood. He's 79, so, it's nice to get these recorded for the future.I like that you can put music on it and listen to it. I don't like that you have to use plug in headphones as it isn't Bluetooth capable. It did come with headphones, but, I like the ones I have better.This is small and easy to carry. I suppose you could discretely record things, but, that seems a little too dishonest and sneaky for my liking. The size and look of it makes it so you wouldn't realize what it is just by looking at it.It does have a large capacity of storage so you can keep thinks on there forever if you wanted.

The pickup and sound quality are both amazing. The amount of space is more than sufficient for audio recordings. It is easy to transfer files to a computer. The device feels sturdy and like it will last. I haven't tried voice activation, but seems like a really handy feature to have. The loops make it convenient to latch on to a keychain or your pants belt loop. The battery life is great. I used it quite a few times and it is still running off of the last full charge. I would purchase this for the price it is advertised for. Easy to use.

Awesome recording device. Very easy to use and does the job. Very light and compact recording quality is great and is super easy to pull recordings and to modify the quality. Great for recording lectures etc

I was expecting a digital voice recorder that was user-friendly and this one definitely fails the test. I like the compact size which makes this voice-activated recorder easy to carry or conceal. The playback function is my problem. Having to use another electronic device to listen to the recording seems rather redundant. Would not recommend this device for that reason. *Edit After seller correspondence I am adding 2 stars to my review. I was initially confused by the instruction manual that described playback. The digital recorder DOES offer playback, but only by connecting the earbuds to the unit. There is no external speaker.

Does not work with non-windows os, default language is not English, so I’m not even sure how to change this. Can be played back using included headphones instead of going through a computer to listen to it. Seller was helpful and explained how to do this… original review was 2 stars- updating to 4 for helpful seller and playback through headphones not computer

I was so excited to get this and use it, but I can't seem to figure out how to play it back on my laptop. The instructions are not helpful either. I am hoping once I figure out how to listen to the recordings my review can be updated with better ratings. I like the discreetness of the recorder though. The battery has lasted a very long time. I will continue to try and figure this out. I would recommend better instructions for use.
