KensingtonSD1600P USB-C Dock for Surface Pro, Surface Go - 4K with Pass-Through USB-C Charging (K33968WW)

Not a true dock!! When I purchased this, I was expecting a true dock that has its own power, consolidates all peripherals, and uses one cable to connect to a laptop. This is a glorified cable hub and not a true dock. I still need to run a separate cable to get power to my laptop since this is a non-powered unit.That being said, it’s a decent hub and gets the job done. It’s very lightweight, but I think that makes it feel a tiny bit cheap. That’s just a nit-pick though. Ultimately, it functions as a place to plug everything into - other than power.

I use this for my Dell XPS 13 with a 34 inch curved Samsung display as well as a 36 inch Dell display and it seems to work pretty well. I get an alert saying the power is not ideal for this, but I haven't run into any issues or drained batteries like a previous docking station I tried. This is very portable and when we're able to travel again I plan on bringing it with me on work trips.

Didn't work at all with Samsung 9+ -- no sound through HDMI port, video cut in and out. Imilar for some windows machines. Worked ok with Macbook but for price should be much better. Go with a much less expensive adapter, I have several that work much better. Extremely disappointed in the Kensington build and compatibility.

The device itself is very light weight, could be considered cheap but for a travel item that's ok. I plugged it in to my USB-C power-delivery compatible laptop, and while it would work as a hub for a USB mouse and keyboard, it wouldn't pass power through. I tried online tech support, they suggested I make sure the cables were seated firmly, which I did. Still didn't work. You can get a great hub for $30, but for $80, I expected this to work as advertised. I am returning it, very disappointed.

Advertised as Pass Thur Charging and Power.This did NOT work on our Dell XPS13 2-in-1 system! I unplugged the charging cord from the laptop, plugged it into the dock and then the dock cord into the laptop, NO POWER to the laptop! I did get HDMI video, USB keyboard & mouse so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Consegna puntuale, imballo perfetto. Il prodotto funziona bene anche se è sempre meglio collegarlo al pc con pc già acceso. Non necessita di propria alimentazione e questo è un bel vantaggio rispetto ad altri prodotti simili e non consuma nemmeno molta corrente tanto che si può utilizzare anche con pc che funziona a batteria

Excelente dispositivo funciona sin problema y lo mejor es que contiene un puerto de carga UsB-C.Se recomienda ampliamente!!

This is a great product for teachers using interactive boards. I use it with a Mac laptop and it connects to hdmi and vga and also has spare usb connections.
