The Chime Note is a compact recording device that connects to your iPhone via a magnet, (it does requires removing the phone case for proper attachment). The device is lightweight and features a simple design with minimal buttons, making it user-friendly. It includes a USB-C charging port.I tested it with multiple recordings which quickly appeared in the app for transcription. The transcription feature is effective but lacks the ability to identify different speakers. However, the summary function can differentiate voices and offers various summary options based on the type of audio recorded. Transcription of a 12 min conversation took approx. 6 min – so you need to give it some time.The Chime Note also offers a mind mapping feature that creates bullet points from recorded conversations. The device offers many other features that I look forward to trying out.

Plus, it’s super smart with noise reduction and privacy protection. It’s easy to use, super practical, and honestly makes work and life so much easier. Definitely worth it if you want something reliable and efficient! It’s super small easily fits in a pocket or purse and easily attaches to the back of my phone, simple design!

I am a small business owner, and I had a meeting with a potential employee; I thankfully, I decided to record the meeting with the new device and I am blown away. It took a 15 minute conversation and summarized it into bullet points, including awareness of tone.I love that it does not charge a transcription fee. Transcriptions take a few minutes the larger the file and there are small details that may need adjusting.Overall, the app is easy to use. I think there is room for improvement for syncing the transcriptions into one document as currently they are uploaded as individual files if they are pauses. I would also like to be able to combine ideas for a to do list.Having MagSafe for the iPhone, makes it easy to carry the device around and never leave it at home.I had one issue where, for some reason it has transcribed a conversation without me pressing the button, I’m trying to figure that part out, as well as the security of information storage.Update: Although this device has wireless connectivity, it is only connected to my business iphone. However, if the Chime device is on, but I have not pressed the record button, somehow it is still able to identify & transcribe messages that I am using speech to text for on my other iphone that is not connected to the device in anyway.Again, more concerns about the security of the device it's ability to listen while not activated.

This device is incredibly user-friendly and offers outstanding features, making it a game-changer for meetings, and personal notes. I currently have neck problems pinching the nerves in my right arm and at times I lose all feeling and can't do anything. With the recorder I don't have to worry about missing anything important in meetings and just look over the transcript or summary.Voice Activation & App Control, Transcription & Summarization, Language Support, Compact & great battery life are very impressive features at no extra cost.It has been a great help for me,I highly recommend It!

I love the form and recording ability in general but I need it to record phone convo with Dr's and it doesn't seem to do that well with my phone.

This product works as described. I bought it for my grandparents to use to record/transcribe their history and it seems to do the trick. I have to help with the app/tech side of it because they are not very tech savvy, but it works as described and is very easy to set up!
