Great execution
Pairs easily and works like a charm. Even the app is first rate. It’s so rare to find consumer electronics this user friendly.

Solidly Built, Easy to Use, Accurate Temp
Received my G4 today, and I'm already impressed. The packaging was minimal, which is a plus in my book. The unit itself feels very solid / premium - especially compared to my older device. The 4 Probes also feels quite solid and aren't nearly as long as some of the other systems I've seen. They nestle into the back of the base, and the magnets hold them solidly - no rattle, and shaking the base station didn't dislodge them.Setting up the device was very simple, and I 'water tested' the probes for accuracy against the other devices I have (1 instant read, and 1 wired). It's way too cold to go outside and put something in the smoker - I'll update the review once I have.Until then ... I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Amazing but nor perfect
Product works as advertised, the two times I've used it my meals came out perfect.Only complaint is the safety line on the thermometer is too far up. Based on users manual, the thin black line known as the safety line, has to be covered to protect it. This means pushing the shaft all the way in save a 1/4 of an inch or so.Works great on roasts, and on thicker steaks and other meat products, but in some cases you can't use it because you can't cover the safety line and hit the thicker parts of the meat because you've penetrated too far.I plan to use the item on a camping trip cooking a roast in a Dutch oven in August. Excited to use these as roasts are really where they shine. Unless you wanted to just use them as regular thermometers without leaving them in a oven or grill, they'll shine at that task as well.

Convenient Cooking!
No more going to the oven to pull out a thermometer to check the internal temperature of whatever we’re baking, roasting, etc. Now we just input the desired temperature and prop the device nearby. We can see the temperature on the screen and are notified when cooking is complete. It’s one of my husband’s favorite kitchen devices.

Worth the money!
Tried it a couple of times already, a ribeye steak on a charcoal grill, chicken on the charcoal grill, and saint louis ribs in the meat smoker. It did a very nice job! Also, both times on the charcoal grill, the probes were completely encased in a metal enclosure (a weber grill with the cover on), and I was still getting a strong wifi signal in the house! The sub-1Ghz signal really did the job!

So far better than other brands I've used
So I purchased a couple of other brands (Meater and InkBird) in the past and had consistent problems with connectivity. Both of those are good brands I suppose and on par with most of what's out there however I have had zero issues so far with the ThermoMaven G2.It has consistently stayed connected and it allows me to monitor from my phone over Wi-FiWith the high temperature range I've been able to use it on my grill and in the broiler with no problems.I can't speak for its long-term durability because I've only owned it for a couple of months but so far it's blowing everything else out of the water

LOVE This gadget.
Works very well and it’s fairly easy too once you figure out the bells and whistles.Expensive but worth the money imo

Probe varies.
It's good; however, the calibration is NOT as accurate as they say. I have tested both probes in the same test water (coffee cup) and they have different readings. Also, probe 1 has recently stopped working all together (maybe a fluke).
