If you are looking for a messenger style bag with a bit of fun, then the Captain Blues one probably be your thing. In the packet you get the messenger bag and a bunch of interesting pins with it, to attach or customise bag with. It comes in two colors as well, so is suitable for men and women. The pins are funny and a nice touch to include them with the messenger bag.The messenger bag depending on the color you choose, is heavy canvas style, with two outer pockes (not sealed). The main inner pouch is zip sealed alongside a wallet pouch too. Its simply decorated, no inner liner and has a phone pouch or for your pens too. The actual bag feels more tote style but can be used as messenger style too. It has a long shoulder strap too, so in a pinch you can hoist this on your back and get on your bike and go. It has that mixed mode feeling, so you can sort of use it both modes of carry style should you need to. It doesnt have any padding inside, so if you do store tablet/laptop then please do use a case with it. It will proably fit most standard laptops upto 13 inches with no issues.Pros: Tote style messenger bag, main zip compartment, canvas style, pins for decoration included.Cons: None really, no padding internally, simply designed to be used in either mode.

This is a good size, well made canvas bag. It's thick, sturdy fabric, neatly finished and has a strong, adjustable strap and good stitching. This should hold a lot of weight without complaint.There are 2 outside compartments, and 2 inside, one zipped. The main zip shuts all the way and is decent quality.Like all bags of this style, it tends to sag when you put anything heavy inside. So I'd ideally use this with an insert or organiser to provide more shape and inside compartments.The pins are quite nice, although not sure I'd bother with them, myself. You get 2 spare backs and they are well made.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. This is a strong, well-made bag in a black material that feels a bit like denim. The shoulder straps are nice and wide making the bag very comfortable to use and these are sewn on firmly. They are also adjustable.It is a good size, nice and roomy, and the base is lovely and wide, a good four inches, just over ten centimetres, so the bag stands up when filled. It also seems to be able to take heavier items easily.There is a large pocket across the front which is divided equally into two parts. Inside is a good-sized side pocket with an additional zipped compartment on the front of it and the whole bag zips up completely across the top keeping the contents secure.Included separately, with the bag, is a small snap lock plastic box containing five delightful enamelled badges with nice sentiments. These have butterfly pin backs, and two spare ones come with the collection. It's up to you where you want to place them on the bag, if at all.Its large capacity also makes it ideal for throwing a few things in if you are going away for a day or two. I really love this bag.

This is a roomie bag and well-made. It also comes with several cute badges that are in their own little plastic case when they arrive.How are the on the downside my husband and I both agreed that it was more like a tote bag in structure than a messenger bag. We don't think it's rigid or padded enough to be useful to keep one's devices. Hence the loss of one star.We think it's fine for a small shop but not suitable as a messenger bag put through day-to-day use and required to carry devices that benefit moves from being in a bag with a more rigid structure.
