Built for crashing, not built for longevity
Recently had a crash wearing this. The armour is crazy good for the money and generally, it held up well (a high-speed slide with lots of tumbling).I think in comparison to some of the other cheaper jackets on the market this one does offer a really good amount of protection. Especially on the arms. I walked away with a bruised elbow after low-siding. I've seen a few products on the market that offer nowhere near the level of padding of this product :)However, the product was starting to fall to pieces beforehand (hence why 3 star). The stitching on the pocket seems failed on one of the pockets but other than that it was perfect. If they can refine those pockets? Then this is worthy of a 5 star.I know that quite people rate things on how a product wears over time, but in this case, I think this jacket saved my life. So it gets a 5-star review in that department.

Nice jacket if a little stiff
Nice jacket that arrived quickly.First impressions was that I loved the styling and the look of the thing although the stitching is patchy at best in a few places. A few loose ends and missed stitches although I found a quick stint with a lighter melted these down. I wouldn't suggest cutting the threads or you might find it unraveling in places but the lighter trick (quick hint there) did the job and kept them from pulling through. The jacket is reassuringly heavy which bodes well if you ever drop the bike and the protection pads are nice and firm. Took a while to get them feeling right on the shoulders but once they'd moulded to your shape they fit comfortably. The leather is thick too so should offer some decent abrasion resistance but I'm not sure the stitching would be up the task if you dropped it at speed. One comment would be the folds where the leather folds over another piece for stitching (on the sleeves and cuffs for example) which could have been better served by being pressed down with an iron beforehand as they are pretty bulky folds which can be a bit irritating. Not too much of an issue as you get what you would expect for the price. Takes a while to break in the leather as its a little stiff but I would recommend applying some leather conditioner to make it a bit easier and more supple.I can't comment on how waterproof it is although it is leather so it'll never be 100%. One comment would be the front zip which I don't think would stand up to much more than a shower without letting the water in. Going 40mph you can start to feel the wind coming through there and, from experience, where there's wind there gonna be water.Overall I have to say that for the price I am impressed. At the end of the day you're paying for the protection and anything else is cosmetic and I think that for the price this is going to be a decent buy.

Good quality for price
Ok, so its my first ever bike jacket and from it seems the quality is really good. Very warm coat so might keep for winter and rain proof as its been tested already. The size was snug and i bought an xl which is what i am normally. I think over time it will relax a bit, I took out the shoulder padding as it was restricting my movement, also it seems a bit short but i think this is my preference and not a design fault. I hope to never the need to review the impact performance but seems very good for price compared with some insanely expensive "proper" bike jackets

Great jacket for the price. Highly recommend
Great jacket for the price. It really is. It Looks and feels great ...although the only draw back is that its heavy. Thats probably due to all the padding inside. Im an XL and it fits really good. Its a bit restrictive feeling to start with, but you get used to it. It tends to rub on my neck but i can live with that. It was delivered fast. No problems there. If you are on a budget then i can't recommend this jacket highly enough. Im really really pleased with it.

Good fitting jacket
With 41 years of age I have just started riding engine driven bikes. Yay, a lifelong dream has come true :-)So, looking for a bargain I purchased this piece if leather and I need to say that I really like it. I have read all the other reviews and can confirm that the arms are a little long, an inch less and they would be perfrct but the lengthth doesnt really bother me tnat much to be honest, its okay. Wore the jacket almost all day and I finally get a little flex into the leather. Overall a great jacket and the elbow pad issue tnat was mentioned in one other review (shoulder pads used to protect the elbows) doesn't apply to this one. Stitching is good too. Only reason why I give 4 stars is because the collar doesnt close high enough so I am getting a cold neck. And hey...I finally stink of biking leather :-)

Its fairly stiff leather and has a nice quality feel which is a surprise at this price
Given the price this jacket is outstanding. Its fairly stiff leather and has a nice quality feel which is a surprise at this price. I ended up ordering a size larger than I would usually wear and it fits fine with room for a thick fleece for colder weather. The only thing to note is that the jacket is not double stitched so if you fall off it's likely to split but better the destruction of the jacket/stitching than the occupant

Don’t buy this - poor quality
this jacket has only lasted 2 months before zip broke. My last jacket (exactly the same) only last 3 months before zip broke. Brought a new one thinking bad batch and it’s broke again. This jacket will only last long enough until you can’t send it back. Don’t buy!!!!
