When I first got this Language Translator Device, I was beyond excited. It's a two-way real-time voice translator that supports 138 languages, has offline capabilities, photo translation, and a 3-inch HD touch screen. As someone who loves traveling and learning new things, this device seemed like the perfect companion for my adventures. After using it for a while, I can confidently say that it has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Here’s why I absolutely love it.One of the first things I noticed about the Language Translator Device is its size. It's compact and lightweight, weighing only 100 grams. That means I can easily slip it into my pocket or backpack without it taking up much space or adding any noticeable weight. This is super important when I’m traveling because I don’t want to carry anything bulky around.The translation speed of this device is incredible. The response time is just 0.5 seconds, which means as soon as I speak, it starts translating right away. This has been really helpful in situations where I need to have quick conversations, like asking for directions or ordering food. The accuracy of the translations is also really impressive. I’ve tested it in different languages and it is working great.The device comes with a 3-inch high-definition touch screen that makes it easy to read the translated text. The screen is clear and bright. I also like that there are two ways to operate the device: through the touch buttons and physical buttons. This makes it super easy to use. The interface is straightforward, and it didn’t take me long to figure out how to navigate through the different features.One of my favorite features of this translator is the photo translation. This means I can take a picture of something like a sign, menu, or magazine, and it will translate the text for me. It even works in low-light conditions thanks to the flash design.One thing that worried me before getting the device was whether it would work without an internet connection. Fortunately, this translator has both online and offline translation capabilities. While it supports online translation for 138 languages, it also allows offline translation for 17 commonly used languages. This has come in handy when I’m in remote areas with no Wi-Fi or mobile data. I can still communicate and understand people.

Was not satisfied with the purchase. It doesn’t work as advertised

The translator device comes with a USB-C charging/data cable and a pre-applied screen protector, which only required me to remove the mask. Upon turning it on, I was greeted by a welcome screen. The initial setup process was short and I had to answer a few questions. I selected English as the interface language, connected to my home WiFi by entering the password, and adjusted the timezone to Eastern Time by disabling the automatic time zone setting. After a brief initialization process, the device was ready for use.I find the interface of the device user-friendly with many translation options only a touch away. These include online translation, offline translation, translations from recording, photo translation, group translation, real-time translation, offline package management, ChatGPT, phone translation, and settings. The interface uses red to represent one language and blue to represent the other, which let me distinguish between the source and target language during translation.In terms of responsiveness, online translation worked fast. But I encountered slight delays with the offline translation. Translations from recordings also had delays and a few minor recognition issues. On the other hand, the photo translation worked accurately even when offline. For language learning and input translation, the device required an online connection, as did the ChatGPT function.I always download the necessary languages through the offline package management while connected to WiFi. This step considerably improved the offline functionality. In all, the device has its merits for travel and I regularly meet people who speak English as a second language in my everyday life and I use the translator to avoid misunderstandings.

I use it for work, it's accurate except for curse words.

The previous translator we used has no screen that it is difficult for my parents to use, especially when the phone's battery was low. So I chose this translator with a big touchscreen. It's much simpler to operate and more user-friendly for older adults. Even during offline, it could function smoothly. The translation speed is impressive, almost real time, and the accuracy is perfect. The image translation feature is also excellent, making it to order in restaurants freely. Plus, the battery life is pretty good, and I only charged it once during a seven-day trip. It's a truly helpful translator device for my travelling.

Love this device, it helps so much. I have it on me everyday during work. We have workers from different countries and when our interpreters are not here or on break, we often communicate by hand gestures, sometimes it’s awkward. This translator translates 2 way right away and it’s accurate. It supports so many languages, and I love that you could also use it as a learning device. It’s small and you can place it with your carry ons and take it anywhere.
