It’s an amana, sharp and lasts
I purchase a couple brands of router bits, but amana is one of my go to brands for their longevity. I have very good luck with any amana but I have purchased.

Flawless. Very sharp.
Ya got an expensive guitar that needs some routing done to get a Floyd Rose set up? I did. And this bit did the job: perfect smooth cut. Did not chip the finish (use tape over finish). Flawless.Only used it that 1 time. For the price, I would buy a new bit for any first work on a high end guitar. So I won't rate the longevity part...

Works well and is on size.
This 3/8 cutter cuts very close to size. I used it for inlay work. The bearing ran smooth. The price is also good. I would purchase this product again.

Good stuff
It still works pretty good

Broke on first use.
So I initially not happy because the cutting edge didn’t go all the way to the bearing… so if you have a thin template you can only cut about a 1/16” before stopping to trim the “lip” formed between the bearing and the cutting edge. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Until the thing just snapped in half! I was routing an existing cavity slightly larger and wasn’t using much pressure. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I doubt it. The broken shaft was hollow!

Gives a Clean Rout
This small diameter bit has worked very well on hardwood projects. I have used it a dozen times or more. It cuts clean routs and works easily with a template.

Great results, very precise
I needed to flush cut a pocket for final fitting. This bit was exactly what I needed. Amana makes high quality tools. Very happy with my purchase.

Great in theory. Terrible in execution.
Works in conjunction with a Dremel tool very well as far as fit, ease of set up, and even safety goes. The issue lies in how accurate you can get with the guide bearing that comes with it. Unlike a normal trim bit from a router, this requires a jig set up to work, I feel. So, unless you have a jig in your shop to act as a reverse mounted router, you're going to be hard pressed to get even half decent results. I have one for sale if anyone is interested. : )

Best bit for template work.
Had no issues using it to router hour hands into a wood/epoxy clock. Would highly recommend.

Great bit for template routing
This was exactly what I needed to to the task I had. The price was reasonable as well.

really sharp and very accurate
I needed a small follower bit to do a custom job for a customer and this was about the smallest I could find. The bearing is SO smooth it produced really nice cuts along with the sharp flutes on the bit itself. My first amana bit and I was impressed with the quality.

fantastic bit within. it's limitations.
To all the people breaking these, you using them wrong. These are not for final uts into deep hardwoods. use a larger bit first to rough out your work then use this bit to add get your small radius corners. I have been using this bit for routing guitar bodies for pickups. Pickups have ¼ inch radius corners. So i first use an amana ⅜ similiar bit to do all the cutting and depeth etc and then use the ¼ bit to get all the tight ¼ inch radius corners done , slowly and carefully with no problems. Don't expext to rout full depth hardwoods on the first pass that would be stupid.
