Based on the C.W.McCall song of the same name 'Convoy' the film directedby Sam Peckinpah stars Kris Kristofferson as Martin 'Rubber Duck' Penwaldwith Ali MacGraw as Melissa (who kinda hitches a ride with 'The Duck' andfellow truckers Burt Young as Bobby "Love Machine" "Pig Pen" along withFranklyn Ajaye as Spider Mike and arch-enemy 'Arizona Cop' ''Dirty'' SheriffLyle Wallace played by the legendary Ernest Borgnine.On a routine run the three truckers come accross Sheriff Wallace along theway who has previously had dealings with 'Duck' he demands $50 from eachafter claiming they were speeding, the payment will allow them to go on theirway (without a ticket)...however, stoping the truckers becomes an obsessionfor the Sheriff.Even when crossing the state-line 'Lyle' gets help to stop the truckers who'snumbers grow rappidly.,The truckers lead the Police a merry-chas, causing many a cop-car spill.But, DirtyLyle Wallace reuses to give it up....it will lead to a battle off willsand an explosive climaxGreat fun, a laugh-a-minute.A true Golden-Oldie.

My Favourite Film

Even though set in some years ago still good family fun.

A classic film that should be in everyone's collection. A trucker vs a deranged sherif 😳. Lots of catchy tunes, action and humour as well as some cultural issues, like the South's (USA) treatment of black people 😕. I picked it up on amazon video for around a fiver if I remember correctly, well worth it 😀😀

Convoy, de klassieker voor elke vrachtWaterworld is een Amerikaanse futuristische avonturenfilm uit 1995 onder regie van Kevin Reynolds en Kevin Costner, die tevens een hoofdrol speeltwagen chauffeur of liefhebber van vrachtwagens. Een geweldige film met veel acties en spanning.

Lo malo: como fue un pedido europeo tardo casi 3 mesea en llegar. :'( pero afortunadamente llego en perfectas condiciones y el disco no estaba suelto ^^Lo bueno: la película es sensacional, la recomiendo muchísimo, ya que es un clásico de culto, Sam Peckinpah nos entrega una de sus mejores películas de la trilogía TRUCKER CONVOYEspecificaciones: el audio esta en castellano 2.0 DTS y subtitulos en castellano, inglés, alemánWidescreen 2.35:1Lo mejor: el disco es multiregion, ABC, si tienes un reproductor Blu-ray de region A no te preocupes lo leerá sin restricción regional XD XD
