I got this because I hooked my PS5 up to a splitter and needed a good longer cable. This is definitely a nice one! If full supports 4k and i haven't had any issues at all. I specifically went with a fiber optic cable because they are a bit thinner and more flexible and cary a nice clean signal.This make the cable easier to hide in a home theater setup. Of course be care not to pinch or bend this cable too much because if it inside cracks or splits it's all over. Extremely happy to have this in my new living room setup!

Unfortunately I didn't realize this cable is directional before it was buried in the wall before drywall went up. Will have to pull it out now and redo it. Apparently on these longer cables, direction does matter.

This is an excellent cable for those of us with lots of equipment and cables behind our home theater systems. The signals are split between a copper cable and a fiber optic cable within a single housing, which appears to cut down on EM interference of audio signals. Swapping this in between my AppleTV source and my 4K OLED TV completely ended the problem I was having signal drops during playback. I didn't test on 8K signals, but on 4K it handled HDR and Dolby Atmos and Vision signals flawlessly. It worked great with eArc to let my AppleTV turn my TV on and off and handled a 120mhz 4K signal perfectly.The connector shielding is very solid and heavy, but the cable itself is relatively lightweight and smooth, rather than braided. I like braided cables because they seem to last longer - but this cable is quite flexible and will be easy to run between units.One odd piece to note is the cable is DIRECTIONAL. You have to plug in each end to the correct end of the process. The SOURCE connector goes to where the signal originates, the DISPLAY end is where it is going. It won't work if you flip the endsOveralll, an outstanding cable in terms of performance quality. Highly recommended!

I ordered this HDMI cable to replace an old HDMI cable that was giving us problems. We had recently switched to fiber optics for our internet, so I hoped this Active Optical Cable (AOC) HDMI cable would work better than the old HDMI cable. When I first connected the cable from our TiVo box to our AV receiver, no picture showed up; I thought had ordered the wrong cable, and this AOC HDMI cable does not work for my setup. After a little research, even though this AOC HDMI cable has the same HDMI connectors as old HDMI cables, the 2 connectors on the AOC cable are labeled Source & Display. So I plugged the Source connector to our AV receiver, and the Display connector to our TV, and that worked perfectly! I think the picture quality is a little bit better, I am not sure, but the sound problem we were having with the old HDMI cable seems to be corrected so far.

This is a good cable. It allowed me to connect my Xbox One to my 4K HDR TV set without the Xbox complaining that I wasn't using a 4K compatible cable. The cable complies with HDMI and HDCP specifications, handles HDR well, and is a relatively thick cable, a product of it being able to support 8K resolutions. While I was not able to test the 8K functionality as I don't have an 8K set, it handled 4K@120Hz with absolutely no problem at all. If you're looking for a budget 4K cable than can handle HDR as well as 4K copy protection, this will work nicely for you.

This is an awesome cable, I ordered it for its length. With my set up I currently have my PC sat fairly far away from the monitor. So my high refresh rate 4k monitor needed a cable that could carry the signal that length. This cable is pretty future proofed, I don't know when I'll be able to afford an 8k television or monitor, but I love that when I do, this cable can do it at 60hz!It works awesome and provides a clear signal in 4k@120HZ. My monitor can go to 144Hz, and the cable performs excellently but it does get warm after a while. So I like stay at the cables rated 120Hz for 90% of my use. I also really appreciate that If I find a cable is supported for 4k@144hz I can still use this as an HDMI Arc.In all I am very happy with this cable and love its versatility.
