Kilt for Men - Traditional Scottish Tartan, 8 Yards, 16oz Premium Acrylic Wool Kilts

This is a great kilt for the price. The fabric is heavier than I expected at this price point, but breathable, with a soft hand and flattering drape.Like an earlier reviewer noted, the 34-36 is perfect for a 32-33" waist, particularly if you're a dancer, cyclist, or any other kind of athlete with a well-muscled lower half. The next size down would probably fit my waist, but might sit oddly from there down (I'm a professional ballet dancer, so my gluteus medius game is excessively strong 😅).The construction and finish are also great.I bought this specific kilt for use in a ballet, because my other kilts are all either my family tartan or black, but I think I'll probably order one in my tartan as well.I'll add pix once I get some.

32-33 inch waist bought 34-36 perfect. Adjustable. Nicely made. 6 ft tall male and came to knees. Not cheap looking

I'd completely forgotten it wasn't real wool by the time I opened it up and tried it on. Thankfully for me, it fits, but the listing suggesting you buy a size larger than normal? Listen to it, it's 100% true, while it fits I wish I'd gone 1 size larger for uh... buffet night. If I had to pick one thing to not like- I wish the belts felt a bit hardier, they should last though- and I admit a lack of familiarity with the thickness of leather here, hence I think it's a bit more of a wish item than an actual negative. Maybe next time I'll get my family pattern. :D

The fabric is, as stated, an "acrylic wool" so its softer to the feel but just as heavy feeling so the kilt hangs nicely and moves naturally. The pleat work is straight and even. The kilt features the traditional "frayed" edge at the interior and the buckles, are well positioned and offer a range of sizes. Proportionately it hangs a bit longer over the knee than some but well within traditional lengths. Very easy to wear, very comfortable. A nice addition to the wardrobe, and coming with the matching hose flashes is a nice touch.
