Size is as expected, maybe slightly larger than I thought. The anvil functions as an anvil should. It has a nice ring to it. The quality is pretty good, it did get some scuffs from transit, but shipping something like this will always be a challenge. Nothing a little grinding can't fix though. Overall value for the price is better than I expected.

This is a good small anvil. It's great for making small pieces. I've beat the tar out of it and no marks or dents. So far I have not broken or chipped it like the one it replaced.

My father had one of these when I was a kid - always found it useful. Found this one on Amazon - better quality and great price compared to what other vendors offered. Now a permanent addition to my workbench.

I am beginning to learn blacksmithing, mounted this to a log that just fit. A little bit of dressing the edges and for the projects I have done so far works well. As things progress it may be a bit on the small side, but it is relatively easy to move around so that is a plus, even mounted to the stand.

Arrived damaged no box and not at all what was advertised. Absolutely massive hardy hole damaged edges mounting holes nowhere to be found and not the advertised weight. Only 3 lbs off is acceptable ig but the condition and false advertisement is unacceptableBuy from someone else
