Will heat a 5x5. Did not have this result with a competitors product that cost nearly double. Cool features for day or night settings. Also can maintain a constant 24 hours. Time will tell on durability. Happy so far.

Does not maintain steady temperature. It offers several modes, but it isn't clear which mode it's in (manual doesn't explain how to know), and even with all modes set to the same temp (night, day, all-time), my grow tent has fluctuated as much as 14 degrees (even though I set the tolerance to +/1 2 degrees) throughout a day. I contacted the manufacturer directly for help and their excuse was that the grow lights are affecting the temperature in the tent, causing the fluctuation. Of course the grow lights make it warmer, but the whole point of purchasing this heater was because it has a thermostat, regulating it's heat output based on the temperature in the tent!! Overall, very unhappy with the product and the service. I will be returning it for a different brand. Now I am just hoping that my little seedlings don't get too traumatized by the constant back and forth. I went to check the temp this morning and it was 58 degrees in there, despite the heater being set to 70! Don't buy this heater unless you want to have to constantly monitor it.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a heater for my grow tent since it is really cold in my basement in the winter time. I have other Spider Farm products, decided to give this heater a try. Set up is really easy you screw on the vent tube and plug in the sensor and you are ready to set up the heater to your need. There is a bunch of different settings you can configure for you personal set up. I have it set to day time 75 and night time 70 for now you can clearly tell on the graph when I started to use the heater (see picture). Didn't want to shock my plants too much at first. I will eventually change it to 80 during the day and 70 at night. I like how there are many different heating options you can set up with the heater. Now I just have to give it some more time to see I any issues with the heater. I will update this review if I do encounter any issues. As for now I'm happy.

Very good buy... on really cold morning it did struggle to warm the tent on lower settings. But level 8 to 10 it did warm the 3×3. Looking forward to doing more business with Spiderfarmer.

Awesome Heater

The heater works well, but has a lot of bugs or issues. I bought one and it worked great for a week. Then I had problems with the night setting. Wouldn't heat up to selected temp and would get stuck. Reached out for technical support. No response. Sent back for replacement.Received the new one and again it worked great for a week. During this time tech support responded with crop.After a week, the system gets stuck around 72 and 73. It just runs. You can reset, but it changes only for a short time. Again I reached out to technical support numerous times with no response.If you want a system that isn't turn key, this is your choice. If you want a daily job or manipulation this is not for you.

This is very difficult to set up for using at higher temperatures, the highest i got it was 86 degrees and it automatically turns itself off without no timer running after about an hour? I set the temperature at 100 and it stays at the same temp of 86 and never goes up, am I doing something wrong or not hitting the right sequence of buttons? the manual that comes with it is the worst manual I've seen on a product that's supposed to show you how to use it. All it shows is what the buttons do, but I need them to explain how to properly set it up without wasting hours of your life trying to figure it out. This is a nice idea but needs to be way more stream line for consumers and easier to use and not so complicated to the point where you need a degree in science technology.
